JOSH GORDON REINSTATED

Guys this is going to be a great year. We'll be well above the minimum level offense our defense needs for us to win games and I freaking love saying that.

Fingers crossed for him.

This is huge news. This offense is legit now. He has to stay on the field. That happens, good luck matching up your CB3 against Harry/11.
Been saying it for months. We made a conscious effort to get better at contested balls. 11, Gordon, Harry & Meyers & hopefully Thomas is a squad of big boys & one squirrel.
And a key thing from my point of view is that he was reinstated while camp is still in progress, not afterwards. Gives him a real chance to build chemistry on the field with Brady in team settings, rather than just in Brady’s passing camps.

I have to wonder if the NFL actually did the Pats a solid on this one. The fact that they reinstated him the day after the Patriots last open practice is curious timing. Now he can avoid a lot of the media attention.

This is a much needed infusion. Fingers crossed he can turn the corner.

737 yards, 41 receptions, 18 yards per catch, 4TDs in 12 games. I would LOVE to see what he can do in 19 games.

And just like that, with:

Edelman
Gordon
Harry
Myers
Thomas
Dorsett

We have one of the best WR groups out there.

I don't know if it's one of the best but, if the last 3 coming (Gordon, Meyers, Thomas) turn out to be what they have been, at least it looks like it's not going to be the **** show that it was shaping up to be.

My gut feeling is he finally turned a corner. Just a feeling of course with no real basis for it.
Sadly, my gut is the exact opposite. Can’t see him lasting at all. Almost zero percent chance he’s still on the team on Xmas.

Such a phenomenal talent, though, and so liked by his teammates. Rooting for success, expecting very little.

Without Gronk, I was happy to see that at least the defense seemed to be stepping up to a caliber that they could still get wins if the offense wasn’t quite as good. But now Gordon is back, Thomas seems to be progressing pretty well and there’s a really promising rookie too, the first round WR is a natural talent and Michel looks like he will be catching passes out of the backfield.

The offense actually looks incredibly good on paper. Kinda scary to say it but it seems like both sides of the ball have improved despite the losses. Wow.
