What They're Saying: Patriots Sony Michel "Continues to Be the Top Running Back on the Depth Chart" After Strong Start

Ian Logue

After a solid first season, Sony Michel continues to improve at training camp and appears on track to be the team's top back again in 2019.

Hands down the best rb here since Corey Dillon.
I expect the running game to be one of the most dominant in the NFL again like it was over the last part of regular season and playoffs. Harris will allow Sony to have fresher legs. Wynn will step right in at lt and do well.
Losing Gronk hurts the run game, but once Watson returns, that'll help. He's the only really dual threat at te, (receiving and run blocking), of course not on Gronks level, but adequate.
Will also help with Sony getting more passes thrown his way, which he will.
Then D's can't cheat, overplaying the run when he's the lone back.
I love this kid. He has the chance to be one of the best in the league.

Did you just copy paste Sony Michel's news from the green bar 2019 training camp player news section?o_O

Pats RB's are going to be really good this year...Just stay healthy.....This stable of backs has me salivating.......pass catchers, runners and blockers with Depth......Should take pressure off Brady and hopefully keep him upright and less prone to injury....

Last 9 games the NEP averaged 149ypg on the ground.

Overall they finished 5th in ypg. Middle of the road in ypc so hopefully that improves somewhat.

SM had a 74-yard TD for me on M20. It was a thing of beauty.

I’ll be that guy....

Should I reach on Sony at pick 20 in fantasy

Mmm not sure about best since Dillon...not yet. Blount and Dion Lewis both have had seasons that topped Sony’s rookie year or were at least on par.

I like Sony but let’s wait for next season to play out.
