Kyle Shanahan Responds After Jimmy Garoppolo Throws 5 Straight INTs in Practice

Jimmy G is making a lot of money and has proved very little other than he can’t stay healthy.

The Honeymoon is over.... JimmY G needs to stay on the field and show promise.

It will be interesting to see what the 49ers do with him if he has a off or injured season in 2019

In 2020 he costs 32.2 against the cap and the 49ers can save 11.2 million by releasing him.

He will cost the 49ers 32.5 million in 2021 & they can save 18.5 million by releasing him.

Imagine Jimmy G getting cut & Bill picking him up for peanuts like Jamie Collins.

It don’t hurt to dream....

Dream about what? A QB that can't stay healthy? Alcohol usually makes me dream about lovely, intelligent, desperate women but, hey, to each his own.

Love this quote from KS

"You try to protect them in a game, but in practice it's the exact opposite. When there's an issue, you kind of poke at it a little bit more to see how guys react."

I hope that doesn't " trigger" some people into hiding in their basement but it's refreshing to hear.

Society doesn't want men to be men anymore. Sorry probably belongs in the other crazy thread.

I usually do my football dreaming on a football website & my sex dreaming private.

If we did get Garoppalo back for peanuts, chances are I won’t be the only one on this site with a chubby.

I really liked JG. Wasn’t on the whole “we should get the greatest ransom ever”, but always thought he’d be a VG qb.

I hope he does avoid injuries. But, I still can’t believe the amount of $ they threw at him... irresponsible.

Interesting, I usually see it the other way around.

If Brady retired tomorrow, I wouldn’t take JG back. Not sold on him.

Touch is off from juggling huge titties.

Jimmy G was struggling big time last training camp and Shanahan was doing the same thing defending him. Reporters were also questioning him throwing ducks. Hopefully he improved his arm strength because teams will make him throw deep.

We talkin' about practice.

Practice.

Much ado about nothing.

Jimmy G was never that good in practice. But gametime, he was (and is) something else. He's just not a practice guy.

Yes, but could you imagine this site if Brady threw 5 picks in a row?
I was just about to pose the exact same question. Answer: this place would blow up from people going completely bugf###...

No biggie. I just think people blew it out of proportion because it was 5 picks in a row.

Jimmy plays good in games.

You’re right. I was actually like that as an athlete too. Never understood it. Unfortunately not being a very good practice player limited my game time.

Yeah, unfortunately a high percentage of the time what that something is, is injured
