Studham

Thought this was going to be about the alt-GOAT and was going to write in BH after Thursday...to be funny.

Given the wealth of talent at positions among the front 7 on d and at rb, the extra spot for a qb may be far to valuable. Of course injuries and the Foxboro Flu could whittle that down a bit over the next few weeks.

I think it may come down to whether someone like Rivers/Calhoun are deemed to valuable to let walk. Hell, wr could factor into this as well. Which brings me to my next question; was it me, or was Slater helping Mayo call in the d plays? Could have sworn i saw him running signals from the sidelines, standing next to Mayo at some point in the second half.

If there was anyone on the roster who could conceivably make the mive from player to coach this year, it is him. There has been a lot of talk about the reduced role ST's play, and if our P is booting it up for 6 seconds each time...hell, we could pick a few random fans out of the stands for punt coverage and do alright.

For what it's worth: in the KISS classic "Deuce", a deuce is...a beaner. Nuff sed.

Depends on what the Eagles are offering for Hoyer.

The mere fact that this is a poll by Mosslost concerning our #2 QB position seems to indicate the board wants to roll with just two QB's on the 53.

That in of itself is reflective of our depth across the entire roster other that at OT and TE.

The 2019 Patriots might possibly actually be the best team talent and depth-wise ever.....barring injuries...I can't see any holes on the roster other than at TE...and if Gronk decides he's bored...hmmmm.....

We need Hoyer for at least one more year. While not the most physically gifted he is smart and can game manage us if TB misses some time.

Before we are ready to anoint Stidham as the second coming, need to see more of him in a more "intense" game setting.. never been a huge fan of Hoyer, but he fits the need.. knows the offense, seems to have respect of the team and has a lot of experience.

But there are high hopes for Stidham, but he needs a year of seasoning to understand all the subtleties of the NFL...

Number "2" Irae with tight lead

You can't really judge an NFL QB until you see how he deals with consistent pressure. There was essentially no pressure all game long on Thursday night (except if you were the Lions QB :) ), so the book is still open. We'll see.
