I predict Brady, Hannah, Moss. I’d hope Gronk. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s it.

I will be seriously surprised if Hog Hannah isn't on the list

Hard to leave Curly Lambeau out of the top 10

Have you heard Bill talk about Francis
Yes. Belichick complementing you doesn’t mean Belichick thinks you are one of the 100 best players ever. Think about that. The best 100 ever. There is just no way.

I said that very tongue in cheek, you realize.

Bill had him come visit a practice sometime during when they were airing “a football life” and called him one of the best TE’s he’s ever seen. Was extremely glowing when talking about him, really was a reference to that.

Obviously he’s not putting him on the list.

Who are the 10 coaches? BB, Lombardi, Halas, Brown, Landry, Shula, Walsh?, Gibbs?, Noll, others

The coaching list likely will have more guys from prior eras. BB has shown too bright in this one.
Good list. Not sure about Gibbs. George Allen maybe. Curly Lambeau as mentioned.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned Monty Biesel, just kidding....will be interesting to see how the list changes since 2010. Manning was 8th and Brady was 21st...

Gibbs won 3 SB - a pretty short list - without a transcendent player

Yes but does that make Jimmy Johnson a lock?

Jimmy had 2 with ungodly talent - and a very short career

So Potential TE's for me, not in any order off the top of my head based on Players I have seen play:
Ditka
Mackey
Francis
Winslow
Bavaro
Gonzales
Gronk
Newsome

22 players would average 4.5 per position, so 4 or 5 of the above. All the other positions are just as hard.

So Iooked at the Top 100 list from 2010, and the panels picks were a LOT better than the fans.

Fans are always going to go with their favorite players or vote against players they hate the most (ie - Brady).

Locks (off the top of my head)

Shawn Crable
Jake Bequette
Jordan Richards
Kevin O’Connell
Tyrone McKenzie
Eugene Chung

Jimmy Johnson the GM deserves more credit than Johnson the HC for what he did to the Vikings to acquire that talent.

Still have to play the games. And deal with that mental institution, Jerruh Jones.

I doubt he makes it. RBs I see with a better shot

J. Brown
W. Payton
B. Sanders
E. Smith
E. ****erson
M. Allen
T. Dorsett
L. Tomlinson
As well as
Gale Sayers
O.J. Simpson * (for on the field only)
Earl Campbell- maybe
Red Grange
Bronko Nagurski..

He had several HOF players and a HOF GM. I'm not saying he isn't Top 10 but I can mention others for that 10th slot with similar pedigree. Once he left the game, he never should have come back...

Agreed, he obviously coached them well winning 2 titles. To me he would look a lot better if he didn’t make a comeback with the Dolphins. Did nothing of consequence there. And Barry Switzer winning with that cowboys squad doesn’t help either.
