He was ridiculous.

Just the other day Ted Johnson was talking about his 1st TC w/ NE. Said C-Mart had moves on moves. On multiple occasions he had TJ tackling air. Tuna was all over him. "Johnson. Those coaches of yours at Colorado told me you knew how to tackle. Were they lying just so you could have a job?". Classic Parcells....

I love Parcells. He’s the reason I became a Pats fan.

I do miss the Parcells era. Fun times even if it ended ugly...
I don't miss it at all. It was a media driven personality cult. Granted it did change the image of the team from one of being a laughing stock to a team with moderate but inconsistent success.

That has ALWAYS been Parcells' MO. He was a builder of teams, but he couldn't do the REALLY hard job of SUSTAINING that success. Besides, history has shown us that over the long haul, he wasn't all that good at 'shopping for the groceries'. (see Dallas and Miami)

BTW- take a look at his success when he didn't have BB

Cameron Meredith hasn't done jack but hey let's pencil him at #6. o_O

yes, a whole hour has passed, and there is no evidence whatsoever that he has developed any chemistry with Tom Brady!

;)

Patriots RB Sony Michel starts to stand out as a pass catcher

"This offseason, Michel missed minicamp due to a knee scope procedure. He started training camp on the physically unable to perform list, but only missed the first two days of camp. It’s been a slow build for Michel, but Friday was his most impressive day in the receiving game. Michel caught a camp-high five passes on the day. In fact, the first pass Brady threw in 7-on-7s went to the second-year running back. Overall, Michel had three catches from Brady (two in 7-on-7s and one in full-team drills) and one reception from Jarrett Stidham in full-team drills and another from Brian Hoyer in 7-on-7s."

Hate to say it but berrios and harry look like busts so far. Why are we so bad at drafting wide receivers? It feels like we should stick with trades when it comes to them.

Who is our wr coach? Dante develops gold ol but our wr coach develops coal

You should hate to say it, because it's a dumb thing to say. Berrios was a 6th-round pick. That's a flyer by definition. Then he missed his rookie year with an injury (or would have been cut and sent to the PS, no doubt.

Harry doesn't look like a bust. Jeezus.

Impossible for Berrios to be a bust considering where we got him.
Harry has been here for a week.

Hate you for saying it. (Not really but c'mon it's Friday, it's hawt, have a Happy Hour something or other. Chill)

Shows what he think of everyone below him. He believes an injured unknown quantity with some amount of pass success has a better shot than the other guys. Those below him are looking more and more like just extra camp bodies at this point.

And who does this guy think Meyers would be covered by with Edelman and Harry and/or Harris (and maybe later in the season Thomas and/or Gordon) also on the field in games?

It won't be the #1 or #2 CB

I was thinking about the Pats training schedule. They have had 9 practices since TC opened last Thursday. They have had 5 padded practices and four of the shorts and t-shirts variety. They get tomorrow off, have a travel day on Sunday before they begin a week that will have 2 padded practices, a pregame walk thru and an exhibition game.

As a guy who went through a few NFL TC's where 2 a days were the norm and an off day was defined as when the 2nd practice wasn't in pads; I can't understand why players of today hate TC. WHAT a breeze NFL TC's have become. Christ, these guys think any thing more than 2 hr practice is abuse. I can remember when a 2hr practice was considered a half day.

Granted we didn't have the extensive classroom work they they do today, but the physical toll back in the early 70's was at LEAST twice as hard.
I’ve not been here as long as some, but I’ve always wondered : where and at what position did you play ? (If you don’t mind sharing)

I still find myself unable to forgive his transgressions. What can I say. I still change the channel whenever John Tomase appears and refuse to click on any of his stories.
