Redskins medical staff misdiagnosed a bump on his head which turned out to be precancerous. He has explicitly stated he will not play for Redskins this year unless something serious happens.

Riddick needs to realize Williams has not backed down since earlier this year. He doesn’t want to play for the Redskins.

I think he was *****ing about his money before they messed up on the medical issue. I could be wrong.

They are at a point of no return with him. Best to let him not report and wait for a desperate team pay a premium for him.

Good thing I'm not a coach because I'd be too emotionally invested in Harmon to trade him (if those rumors are at all true).

I don’t think Washington wants to rid themselves of a talent for one 3rd rounder. They can wait until he’s gone and get a 3rd (I know it’s far in advance, but).

Watch the media complain “it’s unfair” if the Pats land Williams.

JJ is our #1 slot guy. As much as I love Harmon....we have Obi Meniwouf who could play the #3 safety spot, IMO.

I’m not sure, but while there is acrimony, a talented LT with two affordable years left - despite injury concerns - has got to fetch more than a third. Especially in an egocentric world of coaches that think they “can save anybody”.

I wonder if he’d fetch two 3rds and a player.

A year in NFL terms is a long ways away. The Current regime prob has no clue if they would be the ones making the pick in 2021 as opposed to next year.

When we have a 2nd rounder like Duke Dawson have a 50-50 shot to make the roster, you know that you can trade a piece in the secondary and still be fine
