Brady Back at the Cliff Pt.2

It's all a matter of perspective. Where some folks envision child endangerment most of us see a great moment between a loving Dad and his adventurous daughter. I can't help but think those of us in the latter group are significantly more comfortable with the skin we are in and the planet we inhabit than those in the former. Life can be a joyful adventure or a menacing journey, most of the time the difference between the two is nothing more than your approach to it

Yup. I believe it was Ted Nugent who once said, "You are born at point A and die at point B. Kick maximum ass inbetween."

This is definitely one of those " so do we go on three or after three??" situations. Haha

might be the angle, but that didn't look good

These people who claim issue with the risks of the child would no doubt have no problem sending young children to junkies for visits to ensure a relationship is fostered with a parent whos nothing but bad news. Doubly so if said parent doesn't have a y chromosome. Get over yourselves.
I’ve got to level with you here... I’m not sure whether I agree or disagree with this.

Tom & Vivi- different location, much lower jump.
3rd pic- paparazzi pics of Tom & kids/friends jumping off at the same spot he & Vivi went off (few years back) the jump spot is below the highest person in the pic. The birds-eye view definitely makes it seem scarier...
Good, natural, crazy outside fun with Dad is something kids remember forever. I appreciate the fact that he posted it, knowing that the bubble-wrap parent crowd would go ape.

Tom and his family have probably been to this site several times and they are quite familiar with their surroundings.

One thing for sure: I want to go there myself. Place looks like paradise.

I’d be afraid of that flesh eating bacteria or that thingee that goes in your ears and destroys your brain like what happened to woolster22.

Did you notice Tom adjusting his earplugs before the cliff jump with his daughter?

Well, that was awkward.

I am very happy with the skin I am in and enjoy the planet I inhabit. Life is indeed a joyful adventure for me as well.

With all that out of the way, I still would have been more careful if I was standing over there with my daughter (who is 8 years old) to make sure she was ready to jump and explain to her that she can't yank her hand back last minute which could cause either or both of us to get hurt.

Thanks for your tirade and explaining the two types of people.

To me it's self-evident that things could have gone wrong and ended badly and thankfully they didn't.

Well......... he wouldn't post it if she got hurt would he? So..... duh. It's just self-selection or survivorship bias with these videos.

I can see you're the kind of guy who'll say look at the "great moment between a loving Dad and his adventurous daughter" in the following video.

Do you really think the two are that close?

Well pat yourself on the back, you know how to raise Brady’s daughter better than he does.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some pearls to clutch.

I invented a game that my kids loved when they were young. They still speak of it fondly all these years later. It was called Wall Ball.

Whenever their mother went out we'd move away one small table against a wall in the living room and the kids would run back and forth along that wall as I threw a rubber or tennis ball at their legs as they ran by. If they got hit it was a point against them, but the score wasn't that big of a deal. It was just fun to see the kids laughing so much.

It's a good thing there weren't any phones around to record those games. I might have ended up as public enemy #1.

That was McDaniels in his ear giving him which dive to call.
