Tom Curran tosses our very own NEM under the bus. Would Tom do that if NEM lived in NE LOL? Just kidding Curran...now what screen name are you anyways?

N.E. fairly slow on draw in free agency

How's that playing in Pawtucket, Pepperell, Portland, Putney and Peterborough?(you forgot Phoenix, Tom) Not so good. "What the (heck), BB?!" and "Have the Pats Thrown in the Towel?" are discussion threads on well-read Patriots message boards.

(turning my hat around backwards)
Dont think that will be the end of this.

NEM's a good guy. Curran mentioning various threads is one thing. You celebrating this in this manner is low-class piling on, and everything that's wrong about messageboards. You guys are freaking relentless on him, far FAR worse than any stuff NEM ever does to stir things up. Have even the tiniest bit of heart.

I don't think NEM will take it too hard. If anything, he'll eat up being mentioned in Curran's article.

I've been on this board only a little while but I've been on plenty of other messageboards to know that it's probably better in the long run if we kept this forum about football rather than personal attacks. Yes, I'm sure I'll get the obligatory "but you haven't been here long enough to see all the other things he's posted, etc" but the point is, if you don't like what he has to say, you really don't have to read it. Fires all need fuel to burn. Nasty replies warranted or not simply provide a feeding mechanism for blazes to continue to burn needlessly

Actually, having just read the article, it's hardly "throwing him under the bus," which makes this thread - while perhaps tongue-in-cheek - both mean-spirited AND inaccurate. Good work!

That's a nice, friendly Tom Curran article.

Sure, it's the off-season and no player, no matter how over-priced, exhausted, mentally challenged, comes on the market without someone saying that they'd look good in a Patriots uniform. Fine with me -- if you can't speculate, what's the point of a message board?

But I'm pretty confident that we'll go into next season without starting Bam Childress at WR and Eric Alexander at LB -- or, if we do, that there's more to them than we've seen so far.

I think you missed the boat on this one Patsox...ease up...NEM will love it.

Perhaps you need to read it again and stop being so sensitive.

I happen to get along well in with NEM...in many PM's no less.

NEM is going to love being called out...he lives for the challenge, you just don't truly know the man to write such garbage.

NEM will love the celebrity of it all...and the man (NEM) would hate a serious dissection in this instance...now a fun retort...well like I said...NEM loves being called out, he gets to take on Curran.

I don't have to agree all the way bcs if you had been here longer you may understand the context, but you have sound, logical points worth considering.

Well the good news is that if Curran actually read the thread he saw everyone and their sister ripping into the thread author on both the football and non-football related content.

Curran clearly understands how genius coaches think, as do many fans here - some, sadly do not and never will.

Has some one gone out and purchased a few copies of the ProJo for delivery to Phoenix? I sure NEM will love it.

Now NEM that you have Curran's attention, could you get him to push Kraft to:
Re-sign Willie and Adam
Sign Sam Adams
and buy the Bruins too.

Oh and anything that you want.

That would be great if NEM was a Patriots fan. It seems as if he's more of a political troll.

Tom doesn't know who he's dealing with . . . he'd better watch his back :D

The thread that Curran mentions is not exactly our best work, but the point he makes is valid. This is the start of BB's 7th season and people don't realize this is the way he and SP handle things around here!

Come on bud. You can accuse NEM of a lot of things, and I mean a boat load of stuff, but being less of a Patriots fan than you or I is not one of them. :) JMHO

Nooooo...NEM has some health issues, but I suspect if he's feeling better one day soon he will challenge Curran to a duel. :eat3:

The way I see it is that no true football fan or Patriots fan would pollute the football forum with political crap. He's done that on many occassions. It shows lack of respect for the game, for the team, and for those of us who are here soley for football.

He could also be a Patriots fan and a football fan as a sideline. However, he's more of a political extremeist than a football fan or a Patriot fan. He's a NEM fan most of all.

And, what the hell does JMHO mean. You know that I'm a computer moron which includes those abbrieviations.:D
