How do you honestly feel about our chance at a repeat?

My favorite example of this was a few years ago when the Chargers were loaded...they had won NOTHING of course, but fans on their message board were discussing when they would become a dynasty.
Nothing wrong with fans being hopeful - each base probably has a few. It does help to win something first and then see that progress maintained before getting your hopes too high

Yeah… Well, there’s hopeful and then there’s delusional, but yeah…

We just need to find out where The Edge got this t-shirt so we can get one for Tom.

We’re the front runners. I just hope there is a lot of Brady has lost it talk early on. Nobody gets motivated by haters better than Brady.

You must have missed that game. The Giants neutralized the greatest (up to that time) scoring offense in NFL history with a ferocious pass rush, limiting the Pats to 17 points. Does anyone remember who was in their secondary? I didn't think so. The point is teams can win with that formula. It doesn't happen very often, but it's possible. It's a team game at the end of the day. If one unit is average, another unit can pick up the slack. Almost every super bowl winning team has holes on their roster. For us last year it was probably WR. Yet we won because everyone else stepped up. And even if the miracle catch doesn't happen in SB 42, it doesn't erase the fact that the offense was horrible because of the Giants pass rush.
Stephen Neal going down injured early and McDaniels taking as long as he did to make the necessary adjustments weren't helpful. Furthermore, Junior Seau not calling an audible out of the blitz when Plaxico Burress was matched up against Ellis Hobbs (others have repeatedly said they wanted to change the call) didn't help.

The 2007 Giants were an anomaly. Absolutely everything went right for them that day and still, had Brady thrown a little further to Moss along the sideline, instead of winning on a freak play, they would have lost on a freak play. Sometimes, that's how it roles.
