It's distrust AND disrespect.

Yeah I can't stand those videos of people recording being confronted by police and they're absolute pricks to them. I'm all for each and every person knowing their rights and standing up for themselves, but you can do that while still being courteous.

Huh?I don't recall stating such scenarios.

ER was issued citations on the scene. You can hear the officer telling him about court appearances in the full dashcam recording.

So where are the citations?

I was taught at a young age to respect the police. It seems like far too many people these days are being taught to mistrust the police. That isn't a good thing.

As for body cams and dash cams, I think it has helped the police. Many of the minor incidents like this one can be seen for exactly what they are, not what a biased media wants to portray them as instead.

So ER was basically the adult in the room since he has every reason to distrust the police yet displayed all the respect and restraint anyone getting kicked around for no reason can be expected to display.

The handling of the situation was a pure disaster by the cop from start to finish.

If it wasn’t race related, then it was an epic screw up by the cop.....either way, he destroys the trust of the taxpayers paying his salary and he doesn’t deserve the compensation the job provides

And nowhere in the cops job description does it say ‘be a ****’

I agree, they shouldn't be. But it all goes together. We can't expect cops to be sweethearts if you treat them crap all day, and we can't expect the people they come in contact with to not be on edge if you do the same thing to them. Both sides need to do better.

I think you win the award for most over the top hyperbole. It was an uninteresting traffic stop with the exception of ER publicly *****ing. The only thing notable here is that some people (especially rich people) people continue to think that being treated like everyone else is “oppression.”

Bullsh1t .... ER did nothing wrong

If you can’t handle it, find something else to do.

BTW, all of what goes together?

lol....I think you win the award for being the most flat out full of ****.

There is zero evidence that Roberts did anything wrong and no, I’m not taking some piece of craps word for it.....you can, but that says more about you than anything else

No, he pulled him over because he was a black guy driving a nice car and Cops pull people like that over more often than white people driving nice cars. I doubt it is a cop being blatantly racist and thinking he is gonna screw with this black guy in a nice car...It is just a cop profiling a black guy in a nice car, which is illegal. It may even be unconsciously done. This is why we have Black Lives Matter, to help identify and fix these issues.
Don’t give your opinion as a factual statement. Everything you just posted is your opinion.

And I can state that as a fact.

How do you know Roberts isn’t the piece of crap you describe? You don’t. Just like you don’t know the cop is a piece of crap.

I find it highly amusing so many here and everywhere on social media, people post opinions as factual statements.

I can’t count how many fools still state Kraft was involved in sex trafficking. When the fact is, he wasn’t

Let’s just wait until we know the FACTS

I'm not talking about this case specifically.

There's clearly bad cops out there. There's also cops that sometimes make bad decisions. That's reality, and I'll never deny that. They're not helping.

But the people that don't cooperate, the people that go out of their way to be an a**hole, the people that have a metaphorical middle finger pointed at cops all the time, are they helping?

He was lackidasical in stating the purpose of the the traffic stop and discourteous to Mrs ER but I don't see where he was inciting conflict.

Perhaps looking for conflict may be more apt.. without regard he could have handled the situation differently and possibly had a different result..

What seems to be forgotten here is that Roberts was on his own property.. and despite all of this he was not charged with any lawbreaking..

He was Tackleberry no question.

Doesn't matter if he was on his own property if he was speeding.

Ordering Mrs ER to close the garage door was BS. It's her garage!

You mean the sheriff? because he’s not full of crap and in full spin mode or anything like that.
There is no proof of that but keep going if that is your PoV

My basis is the video and that there was no ticket issues in a situation where there definitely should have been a ticket. I have bee witness to and subjected to countless events where abuse of power is the culprit .... this is beyond the fact that there is zero evidence that Roberts did anything wrong.

There’s zero evidence that Roberts did anything wrong so why are we even here.....that’s right, the cop was an @sshole
