Hi all,

I'm an Australian Pats fan who is in the USA in September for a couple of weeks. I'm trying to organise to sneak to Boston for a day just to watch the Pats and am wondering the best way to get tickets

The only game I can get to is the September 22 match versus New York Jets.

I've seen the cost of tickets and reckon it's well worth it but any way people can suggest to keep it down would be very much appreciated as I need to fly in on the Sunday and then back to Australia on the Monday

Any help would be very much appreciated

Cheers all

You’re probably looking at Stub Hub or Seat Geek, and it looks like it would cost around 500 USD, minimum. I can’t believe it’s that much. Damn.

Wow that is a lot of flying!

Welcome aboard

Good luck and just remember: they are unofficially referred to here as the Jete. They are a slimy, inherently disgusting collection of hucksters, criminals, scumsuckers and vile butt smellers. They truly suck and deserve to be humiliated at every possible turn. If you make it to the game and get close enough, spit on them. Otherwise, endeavor to at least fart in their general direction -- it's the only language they truly understand.

G'Day Mate. I'm in Australia for a month. Love your country. Did the bridge walk in Sydney yesterday. Heading to Tasmania tomorrow for a camping trip. Then Melbourne. Great people, great weather, great time. Cheers!

I used it for the super bowl a few years ago. No problem whatsoever. They are great. Saved $500 dollars.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll check them out.

The only downside to TickPick is that their selection is not as much as Stubhub, etc. however, you will find quality tickets there. It’s a hidden gem in the ticket broker world.

Enjoy the Jet lag!

Do season ticket holders even have their tickets yet? Could that be why tickets on the secondary market are so high now? I'm looking for tickets to the home opener against the Steelers and I'm hoping this explains why prices are through the roof now.

Hi Timothy!

I'm not sure but I haven't seen any news regarding the sale of individual game tickets yet. If I'm not mistaken in the past years you were able to buy tickets starting from the middle of July. So maybe there's going to be some information this/next week about it.

Of course the number of tickets to be sold is very low and the seats are not going to be great, but at least you can try to buy one and it's going to be at a face value if you succeed.

As for the resellers, I've used TickPick and SeatGeek before. Both are reliable, but as someone stated TickPick doesn't charge fees from the buyer, so the prices there should be less in general.

And anyway to my mind there's no reason to buy ticket now, as usually the prices drop closer to the game day.

Went to Australia for a two week vacation in 1993...stayed 4 1/2 months. Almost didn't come back...met a Sheila and fell in love. Damn...
