How do you honestly feel about our chance at a repeat?

If we stay healthy we are champs again.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don’t get sucked into the checkers playing media thinking. That team isn’t making the postseason.
You don't think Chicago is the best team in its division? Green Bay and Detroit aren't beating them out ... Not sure about Minnesota.

HIGHTOWER HAS TO BE HEALTHY. He’s arguably the most important guy apart from TB12, that Defence is completely different when he’s there. He is also unbelievably clutch when it matters the most.

As long as the O-Line can protect Brady as well there’s not one team that worries me.

Our Defence will be as solid as it always is, but for me we really need to make sure Hightower is healthy for the play offs.

I think we always have a chance. This year will be a little bit different than we are use to.

I think we get away from heavy TE sets and use the running game more. So I think it is important to keep the O Line playing well and staying healthy.

None. Brady’s old.

Quick!....someone post this in Brady’s locker again.

I feel the same way as Vegas, health provided we're the best team in the NFL.

If Brady and Edelman are 100% at the right time I wouldn’t bet against us. Last 3 times that’s happened we were champs

Even without Trey Flowers defensively I think this team is very strong. Offensivly I worry about left tackle, no Gronk and a new cast of receivers, but having said that the team is strong at RB, potentially an outside the numbers deep threat (possibly 2).

With #12 and the hoodie I'm confident the team makes another deep run.

How do I feel?

Assuming health to the key players and the typical expected performance they should be right there at the end

I haven’t thought about it enough regarding the division. I just think the Bears are massively overhyped. Trubisky is a coddled little deer-in-headlights boy who is well below average. Their defense is now literally comparing themselves to the 85 Bears (lol) and there’s a lot of ****iness and high expectations. Their absurd trade of the two first round picks to pay an absurd price for a pass rusher is going to hit its absurd consequences soon. Sure, I’ll take Green Bay...provided Rodgers doesn’t suffer another injury (and that’s not a certainty by any means), I think they’re the better team due to have a far superior QB.

Call me Mr Homer, but I feel the same way every year:

With TB and BB, they should be able to win the big game every year. Obviously, some years bad enough Injuries/dearth of talent throw a wrench into my fantasy, but BB is smart/good enough, and TB has enough talent, smarts and clutch to do take us to the promise land - on an annual basis.

Lots of raw/proven talent on 2019, feeling confident.

Agreed on the QB comparison but I think Green Bay's new coach is in over his head.

I think repeating is a prerequisite for being considered a dynasty. A SB this season would be 4 out of the last 6. Back to back. Even more impressive than the run from 01-04.

As for the Pats chances, it's tough to say. Injuries and regressions/improvements will make a world of difference. The schedule is pretty difficult. Maybe that benefits them. Who knows. The WR situation seems rather pedestrian again. I like the defense.

3 Super Bowl wins and 4 appearances in 5 years is a dynasty imo.

Only 2 other teams have even gone to 2 Super Bowls this decade, Seattle and Denver, and both went 1-1. The Patriots are the team of the decade for the 2nd consecutive decade, it doesn’t get more dominant than that.

I like their chances, if they make the playoffs, which is almost certain, there is no better team in knockout games.

Go Pats.

I love High as much as anyone, but our LB corps is faaar deeper than last year. If he goes down Van Noy is now a leader and that Secondary is deep and experienced also.

Isaiah Wynn’s health is much more critical to the Pats. I’m scared about the OT/TE depth. LB? Not so much.

I’m more concerned about who protects Brady’s blindside if Wynn is lousy or goes down than a LB corps of Van Noy - Bentley - Collins ...... with Roberts/Winovich as backups. Given the depth at secondary, the Pats can still win #7 with that LB corps.

It’s spelled “defense” and it shouldn’t be capitalized

Three in four years, including a back to back in there, would constitute a "Dynasty" imo. To me winning Super Bowls (Not just appearing in them) means more to me. It's so subjective though. There's really no right or wrong answer. I don't think we will ever see a run like the Patriots again though. And I don't take this for granted.

Possibile for sure
Very excited and waiting the Next 2 months and then ready to see another possible run

Ps my dream is to see Gordon play the overall season

Of course they will make the SB and win.

That's our team.

Go Pats

I've always been right about the Jets.I was disgusted when Martin followed Fatso there and left us hanging against that freak Brayette Farver and Reggie freakin' White. I accepted our fate as perrerrenial bridesmaid at best..and then...Bill Belicheck left a perfectly crafted situation to become the head coach of the NEP? What the hell was the matter with this idiot? Then I realized, as some young kid defied John Madden's advice, and some undersized WR that only the idiotic BB had faith in broke the back of the mighty greatest show on turf..it was then I realized..HOLY KRIST!...the football gods DO exist. Bill Belechick brought all of us that which we thought could never be...BB, the hated, the slovenly hoodie wearer..the one accused of every crime in sports history...THE greatest football mind ever.

The rest is talk show idiocy.Even NFL offices and Goodell have come to live with it. This guy Belicheck is transcendent. No one talks about his "cliff". They have all come to understand the OBVIOUS genius of the greatest leader of men in NFL history, a man as brilliant as has ever been seen in our nation's long and storied sports history.

We've seen Brady get viciously slandered and dragged over the coals. We've seen Bob Kraft humiliated and ridiculed by the rest of his peers.Notice...NO ONE goes after BB anymore. It's over..and THEY know it is.I consider myself to be one of the most fortunate sports fans on the planet because I never expected any of this...6 Bowls?? Ridiculous. With all the drama and hatred? Preposterous.

This guy Bill could have sold us out long ago...could have walked away after all the Hernandez drama and all the rules changes and all the insults...but here he is and here he stays. The league has been relegated to waiting for him to die for krissakes. Well I'm a born and bred New Englander and Bill Belicheck personifies exactly how I feel and everyone I know that's been born and raised here.

I don't know if Ben Dreith is still alive but I take supreme satisfaction that his vicious bigotry has been repayed ..in spades. Bill Belichick...think about it..Brady, Russell, Bird, Orr, Williams, Auerbach...yet THE most dogged, persistent, talented man in New England sports history is OUR greatest treasure. If any of you don't believe me, just ask Jimmy Johnson.
