For the life of me, I can't remember anything about that game. Was Bledsoe already the qb? Was that Parcells first season? And the who the f was the Browns qb? Way too late for Kosar.

Seahawks as they were in the AFC in the time measured

Never played the Bengals in the playoffs, but...

They did play a do or die game against the Bengals in Week 16 of the 1985 season that got them into the playoffs.

Wouldn't it be something if the Pats played the Browns in the playoffs? That'd be a great story.

I was a fan of the Browns before the Pats came to be. If the Pats were to lose I'd be pulling for the Browns to win it all. Stranger things have happened.

The 1994 Pats finished the regular season on a 7 game win streak to make the playoffs. Those 7 wins were bookended by losses to BB's Browns. Drew threw 4 picks in the regular season matchup and another 3 in the playoff. BB had no fear of trading Drew within the division in '02.

I remember watching that New Years Day playoff game. Vinny Testaverde actually played well, converting key 3rd downs. Didn't help my hangover. It sucked watching Vinny revert to form the following week in the blowout to Pittsburgh.
