Looks like Gronk won’t be wrestling either based on that physique.

I wonder if the fans could start a GoFundMe page to collect donations for Gronk's charity of choice if he comes back for the playoffs (or if Roger would prohibit this).

Or maybe just pick one like that would guarantee a certain number of lives saved, and then have a running ticker that says "[X] people will die if Gronk doesn't return for another playoff run".

I still think he will come back. Fight me.

(Sing to Hall & Oates', She's Gone)
He's Gone

Everybody's high on consolation
Everybody's trying to tell what is right for Gronky, yeah
Easterby tried to bore us with a sermon
But it's plain to see that they can't distract me

Sorry, BB, for the imposition
I think I got it (got it), I got the strength to carry on, oh yeah
I need a drink and a quick decision
Now it's up to Brady, ooh, what will be

He's gone, he's gone
Oh I, oh I
I better learn how to face it
He's gone, he's gone
Oh I, oh I
I'd pay the devil to replace him
He's gone, and he's gone
Oh why can't Gronk belong?

Get up in the morning, look in the mirror
One less tight end hanging by the stands, yeah
My face ain't looking any younger
I can see football's taken a toll on me

He's gone, he's gone
Oh I, oh I
I better learn how to face it
He's gone, and he's gone
Oh I, oh I
I'd pay the devil to replace him
He's gone, and he's gone
Oh why, can't Gronk belong?

The body heals better when slimmer and in ketosis. Gronk can start bulking in September and be ready by Thanksgiving.

No doubt Gronk looks thin in that photo. But if you look at his IG account he has pics from very recently we’re he doesn’t look nearly that thin. So who knows, it could be shopped or just a weird pic.

I’d think his chance to come back as slim :D

Ummm, 2 months he'll bulk 15-20 pounds of muscle up?
Fyi, the generally considered consensus: If you are a 21 year old male, born with perfect muscle regens/protein synthesizers, your nutrition is perfect, your workouts are perfect, you are at the top of the testosterone genetic heap (abt. 1000ng) and the bioavailability of it is about as perfect as you will find in a human -- you can expect at very very best 2.5 pounds of muscle gain per month (though this wouldn't be linear through a 12 month span). At gronk's age there is virtually no chance he possesses that kind of perfect muscle building capability. (no he's not old but this is just the way it is).

With that said, the pic is hard to tell. If he is all muscle and low body fat (let's say 10% BF -- it's all muscle on that leaner frame), he can add a few % of fat weight to go with the muscle gain a lot quicker and still be solid. But if he's sitting at, let's say, 230 now and his weight loss has been in large part muscle, you can take it to the bank he ain't gonna be the Gronk of old in Nov if starting muscle hypertrophy training in Sept.
Now, of course something like 600mg test cyp once a week for 10 weeks? Then all bets are off. Just sayin :)

I have a theory that he may be relaxing a bit on his strength training regimen, as that seemed to be an issue when he was here. I wouldn’t be shocked if that played a part in his decision. Again, just giving my opinion, but I have to wonder how he was even able to do some of that stuff, physically.

We’ve seen some pics and heard some stories about him struggling during yoga class down in Miami, so perhaps he can focus on more stretching and attempting to improve his flexibility without needing to worry about lifting as much.

Brother Sup, unfortunately not worrying about about lifting just can't be good for football shape at his position. When you're jacked you have to keep lifting to maintain. Human body actually doesn't like the state of highly jacked (for a few sound bio/health reasons). It's going to actively attempt to smooth you out by burning muscle. Basically the only way to keep it is continue to hit the weights, hard. While he can let up a bit and largely maintain, somewhat, he has to keep at it min. 3 to 4 times a week working out to routine failure.
(not aimed at you Sup)Slightly off topic: People's perceptions are wrong. Highly jacked, it is assumed, typifies healthy. Then if someone watches a Jillian video and people think 'she's cute in a healthy way but X is WAY stronger than her'. No, actually she is probably prototype healthy. She's not jacked at all but she is what people should know is real actual apex health (strong, agile, lean, flexible with cal. intake nominal, bio stress nominal etc).
Hey it's the offseason! :)

I think right now he fully intends to stay away but there is still a chance he comes back if there is a need and the Pats are on another playoff run late in the season.

I'm just going to chalk you up in the " no he's not coming back " category.

It’s still a popular topic now, but just wait until Matt LaCosse makes you all forget about Gronk.

Look, you're all a bunch of fools. I, Joe Cronkite-ker, recently interviewed Peyton's wife and she informed me Rob spent a weekend at the Manning compound wrestling alligators and when he left, he took a case of her pregnancy HGH as a memento.

Wow, it even improves your skin color from pasty white to fabulous flesh or as they call it at Buns in the Sun Tanning Salon, The Presidential.

It's more probable than not LaCosse surpasses Gronks TD receiving total from last year.

What is not probable is being a better blocker or clutch performer.
