Edelman Showtime documentary

It's good! Very entertaining.

- Could've used more football
- He still is staying vague on his PED violation as to what he actually took/did
- Wouldn't have minded 10 seconds of him reflecting on Super Bowl 52 loss
- Looks like he bankrolled this himself

Riemer just came out with an article saying it's not good so it's probably pretty good. Looking forward to watching it.

There was an interesting chain of events about Reimer's article:

Wednesday - Reimer posts his article about Edelman's story not being interesting. He and the WEEI account send out tweets about the article.

Thursday morning - The article and all tweets about it are deleted.

It turns out that Showtime had reached out to EEI to promote the show (the station's account sen out a tweet this morning about the show), so an EEI employee telling people not to bother watching was counter to Showtime's goals.

It's currently up at Showtimeanytime

So...not great but not bad. It had it's moments, the ones with Snoop and Rapaport weren't among them

Frank’s piano playing is surprisingly good, and well used in the story production.

Not bad, would have liked to see more football, especially his catches in the super bowl.

Lulz @ Brady: “and didn’t really want.”

:)

Truly well done and worth watching again. Great stuff about his family.

I enjoyed Edelman on the Stephen Colbert show and last night's Showtime Special.
Both were very entertaining. Superbowl rings are large, he showed his 3 on the Colbert show.

Go Edelman

I have no clue why that loudmouth New York blowhard douchebag asswipe Rapaport is on there.

Can somebody explain how Julian can have a brother named Jason Rodriguez?o_O

Will it have a segment on his PED suspension?
Nah, no need for that. But prolly has a ton of clips of Jules burning your team.

Have you enjoyed all these years of Patriots dominance?

Sure, it's covered in the book Relentless. He and Julian were raised under the same roof but Jason is actually the product of his mother's first marriage, at 19.

So Edelman’s suspension caused a big rift with his Dad. Supposedly did not speak for almost 3 months. I had honestly wondered if that might be the case.

I really enjoyed it and thought it was well done. There were a bunch of little things in there I didn't know and it was cool to see Edelman outside of football, but not as the entertainer per se. He's got a bright post football career.

Too bad the Edelman jersey my mother got me as a gift got "lost" on its way out here. :(

I'll just have to get another one when I get back!

Love Edelman, but sorry, not great and boring.

Best line from Brady: He's the younger brother I never had or wanted.
