Joe Giza posting a nice little video of Brady during his rookie year. Brady looked pretty sharp, even back then

I can't stand it Brady! Run it again!

I might be wrong but I think I spy Ernie and **** Rehbein in the background looking on. Ernie in the first clip right at the start and **** with his back turned at the end of the second.

They may or may not have that look what we just found **** eating grin :D.

April, 2000- to Present

6 Super Bowl titles later.

Same coach. Same owner. Same QB

...and Monica Bellucci is still hot (see "Casual" thread)

I was able to find one of the receivers not sure who the other was.

I went to Smithfield a lot in those years but I don't really remember 2000 Brady, probably because i don't follow college football, so being from Michigan wouldn't have registered with me. In retrospect, I don't think I went to Smithfield as much in 2000.
HOWEVER, in 2001 summer camp I was excited and I clearly thought Brady outplayed Bledsoe. An original "Brady's Lady" vs the "Bledsoe Krishnas" of that season.

I remember going back and forth with some Pats fans who believed that the Pats would have had just as much success with Drew as Tom, even after the Pats won it all. I called them Bledsoles.

Have you seen her recently? She was 36 then and is 55 now. The “still” may only because in movies made then she is still 36.

Nice...I thought it was going to be super 8

Yes she was in Spectre. Nothing wrong with 55 as long as they take care of themselves and she does.

I was a Drew backer. It took me a few weeks watching TB start and by the time the choice came for BB to stick with him or go back to Drew I was OK with his call the team was winning why shake it up. But I was still a little stubborn about Drew. After the SB win I was fully on board TB but I still did wonder if we were trading the better QB but I wanted the SB winner and clearly you couldn't keep both. And anyone who went any further than that and actually thinks Drew could have done the same is looney.

A thread should be started on this.

The game/moment we knew Tom was "The One"

I loved Tom but appreciated Drew despite his awful, untimely picks.

I think I was sold on Tom after the 17-16 Jets game but after the Snow Bowl I was all-in on Tom for the foreseeable future and Drew was no longer the preferred starter.

Like I said for me it was kind of 2 fold there was the moment/moments during the season that made me think we might have something going and then the SB was the true stamp. I still loved Drew though and part of me wondered but TB did it.

Carrying a fourth quarterback when you just gave your starter the biggest, longest contract ever must've seemed insane at the time.

I was at a friend's house from Michigan last weekend and he had a giant Fathead cut out of Tom Brady in his U of M uniform. Apparently they have retrofitted a legendary status of him when he played there.

...And yesterday I was talking with a JETS fan and he says he was rooting for Brady in the Super Bowl last year. He said he just can't deny what the man's achieved and can't help admiring him, even though he sunk his favorite team for two decades.

Yea they've definitely flipped the script on that narrative, but hey can't blame them too much. Tom Brady is arguably the greatest sports story ever.

In 2000, training camp was at Foxboro. I remember seeing them start digging for Cmgi field back then.

I was actually 2 feet away from Brady with a rope separating us...and did not even care for him. Bledsoe, Friesz, Bishop, and Brady all were working on a bucket drill.... I was drooling at Bledsoe's beautiful spirals, Bishop's high arc powerful spirals, and ignored Friesz/Brady......

We went back to Smithfield in 2002.....I forget why we did not do Smithfield in 2000....I think some sort of construction. I think we have been at Foxboro since 2003 now....
