OT: Pat Bowlen’s dead.

RIP Pat Bowlen. (bow my head for 3 seconds) Ok moving on, how does this family drama play out? I read a few last year's stories and seems like its 1st wife vs. 2nd wife battle. Will the future of Elway be a deciding factor in who wins control? I'm guessing Kraft has a well thought out succession plan considering every day for the last few months he worries that today is the day the Florida spa video shows up on TMZ.

Bowelin was a salary cap Cheater & an Elway jock-sniffer. His 2 SB "championships" are illegitimate.

No tears shed for him from this corner. I'll leave that for the Donkey fanboys.

I went in search of those fanboys and found a couple of uninspiring Bronco message boards. I was surprised I could't find a good 200 page ownership drama especially it seems to be a no nothing aunt vs. Bowlen's supposed choice his grand niece. Sounds like a good HBO series, Nic Cage could be John Elway.

Don't care for Broncos fans at all. But I always had great respect for the players (IE Von Miller & CJ Andersen) and Bowlen himself. Whether we want to admit it or not, they've been a well run franchise (Minus the past year or so) for many years. May he RIP.

Not really. Basically the situation is that all the kids will get equal ownership of the team. However, only one will be installed to actually run operations. Two of his daughters are currently jockying for position to get that spot with virtually everyone else out of the way. Until that is determined the team is currently being run by a trustee group. The issue is the trustee group clearly favors one daughter over the other. There are a pre set list of requirments to get the position and they are pretty clearly holding off the other daughter and stalling for time.

I know that a lot of Broncos fans would be fine with the NFL stepping in and letting someone else buy the team just so they aren't stuck in a ****ty family situation
