Brady & Gordon working out together

Make no mistake: if he's active on game day, he's a starter in this offense.

There has been NO news coming out of Park Ave. concerning the possible reinstatement of Josh Gordon. Absolutely NOTHING!. But while I hate to speculate ;), seeing Gordon around the team so much this off season, you have to THINK that his return is going to be sooner rather than later and regardless of the league's potential punishment, he'll be there, in shape, for the start of TC.

This clip seems to confirm it. I think the Pats know something that we don't, otherwise Brady would be throwing balls to someone else. That doesn't mean there won't be a suspension of some kind, but he will eventually be on the field.

I'm starting to like the potential of our WR group.

I like this but even if he’s active Week 1 there’s no guarantee he’s active Week 12.

I'd rather he was working out with Harry. Anytime spent with Gordon is wasted, this guy cannot be relied on.

I think its very encouraging but I'm throwing a wet blanket on myself.

My hope is the NEP and Goody have already decided he'll be back in 2019 but are waiting until TC to announce it. No need to spin up the vampires and blood suckers in the media and draw attention to Josh and put him in the position to deal with that noise in the off-season.

With that said this pic going public runs counter to my theory and Josh is the one who wanted it out there.:p

This is the most boom or bust group of receivers I can remember a team having. I genuinely don't know if we have the best weapons in the league or the worst. IF, and that's a huge IF, everyone works out, Harry is a beast possession WR, Gordon gets his head on straight and keeps it there, Thomas comes back healthy with fresh legs, and Eldeman avoids the cliff....well damn how the hell do you stop that? On the other hand Harry takes some time to get up to speed, Eldeman gets old and loses half a step, Gordon's demons take him down again, Thomas never gets his legs back. I could see either of those scenarios and everything in between. Will TC start already?

Good to see, but I think this says more about Brady than anything. The guy still has a fire and continues to stoke it in the offseason. At some point the "all-time-greats" kind of ride their laurels into the twilights of their careers and Brady just keeps pushing and raising the bar higher than ever before. The guy is unreal.

Gordon has a genetic addiction problem and relapsed last year. He’s still suspended indefinitely going on six months, who knows about the 2019 season. Non-violent personal problem.

Tyreek Hill broke his son’s arm (after beating his pregnant fiancé to a pulp a few years ago.). Pretty much guarantee he’ll be playing week 1 after ginger ball “studies” the case.

I have nothing to base this on except observation of the interactions between Brady and Gordon when they played together, but I've thought Tom has a soft spot for the kid and is trying to help him through things.

Who is “Kim”?

Agree. I'm really proud how the NEP took Josh in and have done their best to support him through his recovery. Josh had the relapse and it seems the team is still behind him 100%.

I think Tom is just a good soul and cares about Josh. I think he views the time good for Josh's own morale as he goes through recovery and Tom is happy to be there for him.

Looks like Jules is also in the pic but tough to tell.

I don't expect anything from Josh Gordon, I just hope he can recover from his addiction problems and have a healthy lifestyle going forward. Anything extra is a bonus.
