Holy ****. I completely forgot about Chad Brown. I was so damn excited!Robert Edwards is a name I hate seeing brought up. I was so excited for his future. Fred Taylor coming out of college. I’ll never forget the photos in all of the draft magazines with him looking like some sort of mystical gladiator in the coliseum with that visor he used to wear in college. It was so awesome. Keith Traylor is another one that I always forget about.

The thing with Fred was that he got hurt early in both seasons he was here.
Strange thing about Fred Taylor was how he never seemed to look comfortable in the passing game. He was billed as a complete back but, from day one, struggled to catch the ball, and run routes out of the backfield.
And was also deeply overrated by Joe Buck when he called one of our games that year.
Buck acted liked he was some sort of secret weapon. He was actually just benefiting from Gronk getting flogged by 3 defenders in the end zone every time.
RIP to that man for what Vince Wilfork did to him.
