I don't think so.You are really really overrating Moore imo.

It's not concerning that Dawson could not get on the field with the unexpected emergence of JC Jackson. Why would they have messed with a Super Bowl level defensive backfield to squeeze in a rookie who had missed everything?
The "without hesitation" might be strong, but in context, do you think BB would prefer Dawson at 2nd round prices or $10 million Moore on his roster this season?
$10 mil for Moore might be a lot, but the question depends more on Dawson. Can he play?
He could have seen some playing time last year if he had shown the coaching staff that he belongs on the field. Maybe it could have taken some injuries to other corners in order to help facilitate that, but he would have had some playing time if he earned it.
It's going to be a competitive training camp for all of the corners, especially with Joejuan Williams added to the mix. This is a talented crop, so theres no concern with the cornerback position overall. But it's wishful thinking to assume Dawson has starter potential when he hasn't shown anything to this point.
At their new contract? No.
Coleman had his chance here.
I think they might want a do-over for Moore
Yeah we disagree by a lot on this one.I don't think so.
I think Moore is a very good player but Jon Jones is no scrub. He plays corner, safety, and he’s a core special teamed.Moore is good. Much better than Jonathan 'average' Jones.
I love Jones as well but I wouldn’t be surprised is he ends up as a trade candidate in camp. Unless some of the younger corners really struggle or offer nothing on special teams it wouldn’t surprise me if they try and get something for him.I'm a big Jon Jones fan. He has the potential to be even better this year. I'll definitely be sad if/when he leaves after next season due to his upcoming contract. Just imagine how different the Eagles Super Bowl could have been if he wasn't out injured.
Agree. JJ is rock solid.I love Jones as well but I wouldn’t be surprised is he ends up as a trade candidate in camp. Unless some of the younger corners really struggle or offer nothing on special teams it wouldn’t surprise me if they try and get something for him.
I don’t see any reason to not keep all of them. Age, youth and potential injury (plus the ability of some corners to fill in at safety) are all reasons to keep as much depth as feasible.Agree. JJ is rock solid.
I think BB will wait until the last possible moment to decide anything in the CB/DB area. Competition, injuries, etc, all will factor into who stays/goes
One could have said the same about Jaimie Collins or Chandler Jones before they were traded.I don’t see any reason to not keep all of them. Age, youth and potential injury (plus the ability of some corners to fill in at safety) are all reasons to keep as much depth as feasible.
Huh? We are talking about depth players not guys who are asking for top of the position money. One could have said the same about Jaimie Collins or Chandler Jones before they were traded.
DB depth is instrumental. One could have said the same about Jaimie Collins or Chandler Jones before they were traded.
We’re talking about getting something for a guy who likely will walk next year. Pretty simple.Huh? We are talking about depth players not guys who are asking for top of the position money.
You could also “have said the same thing” about hundreds of players who didn’t get traded.
Poor analogy.
What guy? Jones? It’s not worth it, we will end up getting just as much in a comp pick and we need the player. We’re talking about getting something for a guy who likely will walk next year. Pretty simple.
