Reports/Speculation: Texans will pursue Caserio AGAIN after 2020 Draft/UPDATE - Rumor: He wants out

Florio speculating that the tampering happened during the ring ceremony

One potential source of information/evidence could be, in our view, last Thursday night’s ring ceremony at the home of Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Former Patriots executive Jack Easterby, now a key member of the Texans’ front office, attended the event. Communications between Easterby and Caserio could become proof of impermissible discussions regarding the job — especially since the job became vacant the very next day.
Patriots file tampering charges against the Texans over Nick Caserio

Would that mean Nick Caserio wants to leave the Pats?

This is how the Jets got a #1 for Bill.
Goodell is the commissioner now. You saw what he did when Woody Johnson clearly tampered. 100k fine. And then the Chiefs tamper with Maclin and lose draft picks. The Fuhrer won't do anything.

Sounds like Nick wants to leave who knew Easterby was such a dirtbag.
I guess trying to tamper with another teams associate has nothing to do with Character.
Remember this is speculation.

I'm not sure about anything except the Patriots think something happened.

Sources: Pats file tampering charges vs. Texans

For instance, maybe Jack Easterby talked to Casserio about it at the Ring Ceremony. That would be without permission. I have no idea what happened but the Patriots evidently think something happened and I'm certainly not going to assume that "no rules were actually broken".
If Easterby is shown to have been involved in this matter, then what a spineless little back-stabbing hypocrite he turned out to be.

Bill O'Brien on Tuesday was asked: Did you or Jack Easterby have any contact with Nick Caserio or his representatives before Brian Gaine was fired?
O'Brien: 'I would say that the answer to that is no relative to contact about anything having to do with the Houston Texans. No.'

O'Brien's verbiage sounds a might parsed to me there.

Maybe the Texans knew the way to get Caserio was thru Easterby seems like they calculated it all out.

I'm sure Belichick loves to accuse former friends of tampering all the time.
If Caserio leaves sounds like the bond to Obrein is stronger than we all speculated.

No kidding. Looks like Father Mulcahy is brushing up on his sermons more than the NFL bylaws.

Evidence of potential tampering come from photos, videos, other proof of interactions between Texans exec @JackEasterby and Caserio at last Thursday's Patriots ring ceremony, which happened the night before the Houston G.M. job became vacant.

.
I just hope the same camera didn't have on it Krafty getting a massage.

He planned all of this.

If Nick leaves now after the tampering charges it's a really bad look.
Time to pay him top GM money and boost his title.
If he truly isn't happy in New England and he leaves for Texans I hope the Texans finish last in the division the next 5 seasons they all get fired the owner sells the team to a investment firm in London and they relocate and rename the team the London Knights.

***Curran hits it on the head here: Who the hell is Easterby to get football and player development position????? The guy is a chaplain. There must've been some planning going back further than we thought in Houston to get someone in position to nab Caserio.

For all we know, this guy may have ministered/counseled Caserio for years herein New England, gaining a position of trust with Nick and his family, which is why Houston nabbed him when we all thought it was so mysterious how a chaplain all of a sudden gets a player personnel exec job with the Texans......

Bill Obrein is a piece of crap I hope they come up empty handed.
This must of been Obreins pitch to keep his job.

So since the Pats took it far enough to file tamper charges sounds like Nick has one foot out the door already.
