Good. Now give Caserio the promotion and tell the Texans to go **** their mother.

just tell me this means caserio isnt going anywhere.

Can we get Hopkins straight up in a trade :)
I'd drop the tampering charges then.

This is how the Jets got a #1 for Bill.

Take your tampering and shove it deep into your chin dimple, Bill O’Brien.

Like @robertweathers said, it'll almost definitely amount to nothing because I'm pretty sure no rules were actually broken. However, I think it does answer the board's question of how BB felt about the idea.

There is no way Caserio leaves under these circumstances, he’s not Fredo.

....and you gotta wonder HOW the NEP found out.

My bet: Caserio ratted them out. Now its a lock hes not going to HOU.

Does Caserio have a chance to be the first GM of the BB era? Or will they just give him another raise?

Why are you so sure about this?

I don't know all the tampering rules but there are rules. Maybe they approached Casserio during last season, who knows. The bottom line for me is that if the Patriots wanted to deny permission they would have tried to do that. By filing tampering charges they must think some rule was broken.

If they tried to redo his deal and Caserio’s agent let it get out that they had a better offer that may have been the indicator.

Why are you so sure about this? Remember the Revis counter-tampering incident?

I'm not sure about anything except the Patriots think something happened.

Sources: Pats file tampering charges vs. Texans

For instance, maybe Jack Easterby talked to Casserio about it at the Ring Ceremony. That would be without permission. I have no idea what happened but the Patriots evidently think something happened and I'm certainly not going to assume that "no rules were actually broken".

Yea it depends on the motions. If the agent had (purposely) loose lips and floated the $$ to HOU and HOU back-channeled $$$ thru a 3rd party then that is tampering.
