2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

Source? Lemme guess...

Pork Chop Haggerty?

View attachment 23453

I used to always laugh at his twitter headline; was a play on the Ted Williams line “There goes Ted Williams, the greatest hitter who ever lived.”*

Guess I can’t blame the guy for having stretch goals, but it doesn’t hurt to keep em based in some semblance of effing reality.

* it may still be his headline but I unfollowed him years ago

Pork Chop is just being Pork Chop.

"Bruins Insider" sounds like some sort of tapeworm or other nefarious medical issue.

Looks like its Kampfer and Vaak for Game 5. Good to see Gryz is skating, but I think he has to have a contact practice before he can play again (so maybe Game 6)

Bruins in 6. I'm staying positive.

I am cautiously optimistic.

They did all right when Z was hurt earlier in the year as I recall.

Whoever wins tomorrow night will win the series. Thats my "hawt take"

Grz skating is a great sign.

Apparently he was on the PP2 rushes in practice too.
...a even better sign

Next step is the doc clears him for contact.

**** it...Bruins gonna take this in six.

He was playing on the 2nd PP unit today. He's playing. I'm going to miss Big Z but his loss is not as devastating with Gryz back.

Moore McAvoy
Krug Carlo
Gryz Clifton

Perhaps there's a scenario where we dress 7 and Chara plays limited 10 minutes in high stress/penalty kill situations? The issue with the broken jaw is his ability to communicate and then energy given he won't have eaten anything solid for a good 5 days. Sit Backes or Heinen. Both have been awful (yes, i'm aware of Backes physicality and 'heart' but he's a waste of space). Increase the times of Bergy, Coyle, Pasta, March hoping that the latter 2 finally wake up.

I saw a beat writer on twitter mentioning the idea that they may dress 7 D-Men (McAvoy, Moore, Krug, Carlo, Kampfer, Clifton and Gryz) sitting a forward and then leave Gryz as the "PP Only, break in case of another D-Man going down" guy.
