In honor of Crocodile Dundee, part 1.

“That’s not slow. This is slow”.

I'll try again . . . WHERE IS THE VIDEO?

Also: it's day one of minicamp. ;)

Two different judges have suppressed i....

Wait!

Never mind.

Chris Price did a nice write up over at the BSJ. Although it was almost a throwaway line at the end he mentions that Obi Malifanwu started along side DMcCourty as the 2 starting S's and looked like "belonged".

While NONE of whatever happens today or even in the next 2 really matters a whit, I took hope in what I heard about Obi. We really needed a youthful infusion at S this year and it didn't come in the draft. Obi has off the charts size and measurables. I'm really hoping he could take some of the massive workload Chung has taken on in recent years AND be a very interesting situational match up piece game to game.

Think about it. On any given play the Pats can put out Obi (6'4) Gilmore (6'2) Jackson (6'1) Williams (6'4) and Collins (6'3) in coverage.

Next, I'd like to hear more about Williams. Given the DLman or TE's we didn't draft in the 2nd, I really NEED this kid to be impactful his rookie year

Always nice to see the guys expected to be at the bottom of the roster, or on the outside looking in, do well enough to make people take notice.

Honey Nut Berrios being the latest example.

The poster is Ben Volin.
I looked at the video and tried timing the release to catch times for the three receivers during the drill. It's hard to judge, but they all seemed to be about 2.7+/- 0.1s or so with Jules seeming to be the slowest. The smaller receivers just look like they are moving faster compared to the longer striding N'Keal. In any case, the difference is quite small, and it's certainly too soon to be concerned.

I'm not concerned in the least.

Franken-Berrios or Boo-Berrios is in the same cereal family as Count Chocula.

So After first day of Minicamp
Edelman Berrios Harris Harry, Gordon, maybe Thomas?
How did Inman Look?
What about the undrafted Rook we need more details.

I was mostly pre-empting any attempts at using his positive reports to stick it to me. I don't think anyone cares enough about my opinions to do that though.

Damn, I was just about to post a soul crushing " in your face " gif....

You didn’t miss anything. Harry and Harris run out routes and catch a pass. Edelman drops the pass.

A lot of die hard fans here. Didn’t expect someone to measure release to catch times :), based on me saying N’Keal looks slow compared to Harris and Edelman in 1 drill on day 1 of the minicamp.
