It's easy, and only takes a few moments.First we should reference the other thread where it’s been shown that QB ratings are a worthless formula created to give a general incomplete numerical representation of a limited cross section of qb stats.I detailed this in the Jete thread, but here’s the short breakdown: Gase has never actually improved the play of any quarterback. Manning is the only player who you could argue benefitted from his schemes. He’s an absolute fraud with zero case studies to backup his reputation as a QB guru.
The fraud/the fraud’s propaganda team often cites Jay Cutler “night and day” turnaround under Gase in 2015.
Cutler in 2015 - 92.3 passer rating
Cutler in 2014 - 88.6 passer rating
Cutler in 2013 - 89.2 passer rating
Here’s a list of first round QBs he’s coached besides Manning, all known for having the physical abilities but needing better coaching:
Tim Tebow (absolute failure to improve)
Ryan Tannehill (absolute failure to improve)
Jay Cutler (did not improve much if any...pretty much statistical noise)
Also coached (and failed to improve) Kyle Orton, Brock Osweiler, Jon Kitna, Shaun Hill, and JT O’Sullivan.
Can anyone tell me where’s there’s evidence this guy is a QB guru, or anything more than an abysmal failure at developing quarterbacks? Pundits just throw it out there all the time with zero facts to back it up.
And:What areas still need help? The Jets probably won’t be very good again this season based on their roster, but their biggest area of need is one that’s been in the spotlight the last few weeks. Unlike the Dolphins, the Jets don’t seem to have a cohesive plan of direction. Head coach Adam Gase says he doesn’t want all the power but acts differently. At publish time we still don’t know who the next GM is or how he will fit with Gase. You have a coach who has a running back and linebacker he believes are overpaid. He probably could have gotten more for Lee in the trade and several teams pounced on Leggett when Gase axed him. Who’s really going to be calling the shots in 2019?
In other words, SOFJ!Biggest question heading into the regular season: How big of a mess will this be? Again, you have a coach who clearly isn’t wild about the money paid to the best player on offense. Darnold can’t struggle again this year like he did last year. You have to love what the Jets did at receiver in the offseason, and picking Williams third overall was a no-brainer. But everyone in the NFL is pointing and laughing at the Jets right now, and it’s not like Gase has a proven track record of being to land the plane in stormy weather. Somehow this could get worse before it gets better.
It's all going down in typical Jetsy fashion: they say they don't want another young scout as GM, they want someone with the big picture view who can provide executive leadership, yet they go out and interview a bunch of young scouts. The key is finding an executive who is compatible with new head coach Adam Gase, whose personality isn't for everybody. That they're hiring the GM after the coach -- yet another arranged marriage -- makes it an especially slippery slope. Many league insiders believe Gase's recommendation will be rubber-stamped by ownership. What could go wrong?
Im kinda stunned Jete never signed Fake Muttler. He is so Jete.
Love that quote about Gaze's personality not being for everybody. Hilarious stuff. Can't wait to see what monkey wrenches Gregg Williams will toss into the mix.Boy, even da Jete beat writer Cimini ( Breakdown of Jets' GM options: Cup of Joe ... a Champ ... the right 'Fitt' ) can't wrap his head around da Jete's current situation:

Meanwhile all the candidates know that Gaze has a history of back stabbing and that the owner is an empty suit so if they have any sense at all they'll take a pass on this fecal storm and wait for a better opportunity to open up.

Good, let them run their mouths. That leaves less energy for their legs.
Of course you are excited over anything happening during the off-season. Here's another reminder of what you're looking forward to ...
Once they stop laughing police reportedly will investigate the theft of Belch's jewelry by his "girlfriends." Could be a while.30 for 30 already planning to add him to the 2025 lineup of athletes who went broke.
