NBA Draft - Trades - Free Agents

Any chance the NBA Finals outdraws the Stanley Cup Finals in Boston? I am assuming it's not gonna happen.
Are the Stanley Cup Finals over yet?

You think we’d offer kyrie Supermax?

I believe they would

@ALP I don't want him here, but believe they will offer him the supermax

Warriors run is incredible. They never needed Durant and the entire team actually plays better when Durant isn't playing because everyone is more involved.

They need Durant. There was a reason they went out and got him in the first place. If the 3s are not falling without him, they're dead in the water. If they are, they're lethal. Too much boom or bust there. Without him, they have nobody that can consistently iso and score in the paint.

They won 2 Championships without Durant and could have won another if Draymond didn't get suspended. Durant adds an 'iso' element to the team but with him out there it also stalls ball movement which hurts Curry and Klay.

Something about Zion Williamson tells me "bust".
You could always hang your hat on the fact that he's from Duke.

Care to try that again? They beat a wounded Cavs team after falling behind 2-1 in the series in 2015 and blew a 3-1 lead in 2017 thanks in large part to the fact that they had nobody that could consistently draw doubles and still score in the paint coupled with the fact that they went cold from beyond the arc. That's why Durant was signed. Since then, they've lost in the Finals only once. They definitely need Durant.

The Warriors lost in 2016 because Draymond was suspended, otherwise this is over in 5.

With the current roster setup, I believe they need Durant though. Their bench has been playing well but they won't sustain it and both MIL/TOR are very good defensive teams.

I’ll always disagree with that. LeBron domainted games 5 (without Dray) and 6 (and with).

Draymond should have been suspended a few times during the OKC series, maybe they never even make it to the Finals (granted he was not very good vs the Thunder as I recall).

Try what again? Those are actual records of the Warriors this year when Durant didn't play. The Warriors winning 2 championships prior to Durant is an actual statistic. If and when Durant wins without Curry then we can say he was that important. As far as we know, for a fact Durant hasn't won a chip even when he had Harden and Westbrook.

LMFAO no they didn’t. They won in 2015 and lost in 2016... precisely because they didn’t have Durant. They got Durant and won the last two.

You're right they won one. I still believe Draymond getting suspended is why they blew that lead in 16.

Those wins without Durant are still real statistics.

How many titles did Durant win without without Curry/Klay/Draymond ?

Wasn't that the case with the Celtics regarding Kyrie Irving?

why? does he have man-boobs?

If this is a legitimate question, not negative for fun statement, it could be because he had prostate cancer. They sometimes give female hormones to stop the testosterone from carrying cancer elsewhere before radiation or removal of the prostate. Hence the loss of hair on the chest and boob growth.
