2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

Don’t want to count my chickens before they hatch because Blues but looking good so far!!

I'll count them for you. That goal pretty much seals the deal, the B's will face the Blues for the Cup for the 2nd time. The last time it happened, 49 years ago, the Blues were nearly new

Not really impressed with St Louis but they keep winning. I live outside St Louis so it would be nice to see a game. These people hate all things Boston so it's time to shut them up.

blues will have 5 days rest. that evens it up with the bruins. they wont have to face a team fresh off a hard fought series. advantage bruins.

Well the Pats did cheat them by filming that walkthrough...

Bruins v. Blues for the cup

Congrats, Blues. Outplayed SJ 5 of the 6 games. Honestly didn't think SJ had a Cup run in them this year, so while getting close hurts, it was a bonus.

Regards,
Chris

Gotta be honest, I am now less worried about the layoff than I would have been. There may be more plusses than minuses to a long layoff but facing an opponent that hasn't played in 5 days helps lessen the minus side. Once the rust wears off both teams getting a chance to lick their wounds should boost the overall quality of The Finals

there is room on the bruins bandwagon? its time to come home.

Hard fought series. Sucks you guys were banged up towards the end but it’s the nature of the beast in the playoffs.

The March to The Cup is a test of endurance as much as it is one of skill.

There was a stretch late in the year when both Karlsson and Pavelski were out and the team looked awful. I knew today was going to be a mountain to climb no matter who they played.

That being said, since game 1 the Blues did a great job neutralizing the Sharks forecheck with quick puck movement deep in their zone to get the puck right back out. Sharks had no plan B.

Chris

It’s just crazy to think where this team is now after being in last place in the NHL on Jan 3rd.

I'll be happy for you fans here and IRL rooting for Boston if they win, but I'll go back to paying attention to my kids since my team is out. I think I saw about 5 minutes total of the 2011 SCF. The time difference really makes it inconvenient.

Chris

its hard to follow even in the finals?

Hopefully you will find the time to drop us a thought here from time to time. Not watching much, and in many cases understanding the game even less, hasn't stopped some of the other posters on this thread from sharing their (ahem) wisdom.

My job entails lots of evening calls/meetings. Games are either over or just ending when I'm free. Then I catch up with my kids since I blew them off for the work calls.

I'd love for the games to start 8pm here, but you would all hate that.

Regards,
Chris

Good or bad match-up for the Bruins?
