NBA Draft - Trades - Free Agents

If rumors pan out, the Knicks might have Irving, Rozier, Morris, and Theis on their roster next year. Odd.
Rosier and Morris won't be on the same team as Kyrie Irving, should they all be gone.

I completely agree with you on your point about how the two teams differ, but at least for me its hard not respecting them. They are so dominant that you could bet your car before the season starts that Warriors will win the title and likely be right. I think including this season, Curry wins 2-3 more titles.

I don’t respect any sports team....it’s entertainment

I disagree. The Bucks can beat the Warriors.
I think it's possible, as well. To me, whether it's Toronto or Milwaukee, the key will be not being intimidated by the Warriors and their recent history.

Yep Rozier will not go on any Team that features Kyrie.

looking at the 2 teams, it will come down to what durant can do.....GSW has the bodies to throw at Giannis (Green, Iguodala, Looney) ... it will come down to how well the Bucks can chase Curry and Thompson around the floor

Great points Giannis can't be on the Bench too long against the Warriors. And I don't think the Bucks Guards can do the job against Curry and Thompson. They ain't playing against Kyrie and that brick laying Celtics squad.

The Warriors still have to beat Portland. Portland staying with them for three quarters while their offense took the night off tells me a lot more than the final score. I think if they get past Portland they will be healthy again and will close out the championship.

The Warriors parallel the Patriots in that it was historically a basement franchise that is enjoying a streak of sustained success. You can’t make roster comparisons between basketball and football.

They’re nothing like the Patriots. The Pats don’t beat their opponents to submission by having 15 All Pro players on the team. We’ve had sustained excellence for 20 years by having two cornerstones and a revolving door for everyone else. Culture and discipline. The Warriors had two great years where they won one title with homegrown talent and then completely ruined any parity when Durant went there. That wasn’t enough they had to get Cousins as well.

Of course they’re great, they have 5 all stars in their starting line-up. They lose two of them temporarily and they still win games without any issue which demonstrates how stacked they are.

They didn't need KD to stay in contention for winning titles. The cap ballooned, and they took advantage like any smart team would. Would you not sign Aaron Donald if the cap ballooned, and he was a FA/wanted to be a Patriot...so we wouldn't ruin parity? Sure, man.

That team won a record 73 games, and was a stupid Draymond decision away from winning back to back w/o KD.

Cousins doesn't fit with that team, and actually makes them worse btw.

They're not exactly the Pats, and the two sports are apples, and oranges - but the parallel of in game excellence paired with well run FOs is certainly in common.

Warriors are a great organization this decade. All great teams get sort of lucky. When they signed Curry in 2012 he was just a up and coming player. Had him and his agent known what he was going to become it would of been different. Biggest bargain contract in the NBA, maybe ever. Thus enabling them to load up with Durant. Now that Curry signed his MVP deal last summer, Durant is on his way out. To be honest, I’m surprised he honored that contract in this day and age.

All true, with one nuance. While I agree they didn't know he'd become an all-time change the game shooter we know now (though Steph probably had the confidence even back then) a big part of the reason his contract was such a bargain was that he was always nicked up (mostly ankles) and could never stay on the court.

Funny how KD supposedly wants to go play with a shot jacking PG. Feel like that was one of the reasons he must've left OKC in the first place...and now to go back to that? Love his game, but KD's a meathead.

Bucks at 12-1 two months ago has been my “deal of the year” for some time. I’m sure the odds have become a lot more expensive now, but still a good value. I believe a Warriors-Bucks final could go either way. That Bucks team is stacked. Notice the Warriors are playing better without KD? I’m in the Bay Area and have been following the team...I get the sense there are some big alpha/leadership issues on that team and they aren’t that far off from being like that Lakers team with Shaq, Kobe, Payton, and Malone. I believe all the impending free agency and growing egos is finally going to take its toll, and they’d be better off keeping KD out and letting this lineup finish off the dynasty they started. They are clicking on all cylinders, and I wouldn’t mess with it.

I agree that the Dubs look better with Curry running the show on the court, but Durant makes things a lot easier on the team. I believe the difference is that with Durant...everyone sorts of stands around and lets Durant do his thing vs. giving a team effort with him out.

As for the Bucks....they apparently have some depth (George Hill and Connaughton killed us in round 2)....the only way to beat the Warriors is to use your depth...the 2nd unit has to outscore the Dubs when 2-3 of their starters takes a seat.

That being said....a Dub three peat is highly likely....I'd bet good money on it.

In theory, NY has the easiest pick in the draft...
Those are the ones the Knicks are best at f###### up. They have an internal professional development training entitled, "How to F### Up a Sure Thing Draft Pick. " Participation and successful completion is required, and it's mandatory every six months.

Maybe one game, but Golden State is bringing home another title. This should be the first year that I’m not actually rooting for them.

I had a feeling no one around here gave a rip about Toronto Milwaukee ;)
