Brady Dominant
Offense Dominant
13-3
Defense played good enough (only gave up 19, plus gave away 6 at end, so really less)

Just watched clips from 10 and 11, and the Pats were awesome, and that Giants team sucked.

Gronk was hurt. Ocho Stinko didn't know where to line up after 18 games. The pass to Welker was too high. Right off the bat Brady commits intentional grounding.

I’m totally over the 2nd Giants loss and the Philly loss.

I mean, look at it this way. They made a couple of more plays than the Pats did. Just like the Pats made a few more when they won some of theirs.

Other teams are good and play football too. You could make an argument that Brady could be undefeated in all of them, on the flipside he could be 3-6 without some great plays from his players. Totally ok with 6-3.

Actually been over the 2nd Giant loss for awhile...if it wasn’t a NY team wouldn’t care much at all—definitely glad Hernandez didn’t win one.

The Giants were clearly in that Pats heads. Earlier that year with a healthy Gronk, they lost on a late drive by Manning. It was Deja vu.

The freak out intentional grounding on the first drive looked like the D line was in Brady’s head. He settled in taking a 17-9 lead with the momentum on their side with Hernandez unlocking the vault and making it rain in the end zone. But then they reverted back to struggling until that drive it looked like they were going to close out the game when the famous Welker drop occurred. That was painful go watch. Even my friends who weren’t Pats fans were cringing after that play.

Brady finally exercised his demons in NY 2015.

You win some you lose a few. I have got over all the loses, with the mentality that we should have lost against Atlanta and Seattle.
The one that sticks with me at times is the first Giants loss. Wanted that perfect season

The Patriots are really a handful of plays away from winning all 9 titles or losing all 9. Pretty crazy when you think about each game and win or loss, every one of them could have been the opposite outcome with a stop here, a catch there, a sack here.. Agreed though, all in all 6-3 is an incredible achievement.

Remember, Brady was injured in that game. He had caught fire and had either set or almost set the SB record for consecutive completions and then got planted on his shoulder and wasn't the same after that.

This thread is stupid.

the thread's a moron?

more on that later I suppose....

Pats should've lost SB 49. Pats should've lost 51 too. But idiotic coaching decisions helped. Can play this game both ways.

Most of the Super Bowls the pats won were by a miracle catch/Int or a game winning field goal. Winning 6 out of 9 SBs is pretty amazing considering they could just as easily be 3 wins out of 9 appearances - or worse. We should count our blessings!

What are you talking about? We had the worst D of the decade that year. It was a miracle we got to the SB. Every game was a shoot out. I think we were ranked 31st in total yards and 32nd in average drive per yard. We couldn’t stop anyone. I never felt too bad about that loss. That team was lucky to get to the SB.

They could have won 1 of 9 or 9 of 9. I'm pretty happy with 6.

Don't be too concerned, moss happens
