2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

Looks like you might get your wish, in a game 7
Meh. Just saw the Bruins highlights. Nice Backes goal to cap the scoring.

Regards,
Chris

Onto the next round of heart attacks and brain aneurysms.

Rask was so solid in game 6. Wow. The power play kills in the 3rd period were spectacular as the Blue Jackets could feel the mounting pressure to put anything in the net. This is the right time of the year for the defense to up its play to the next level. I hope they sweep the Hurricanes.

When you make mean posts like that I think you might not be taking the feelings of someone that doesn't really understand the game fully into account. After all it was such (ahem) clear interference the review took 10 minutes.

Nope, I made it because he has no rooting interest in this series, or any other at this point, and he’s only coming into this thread to piss in the pool. He’s being a troll on a message board he uses for football interests and trolling your own board is as douchebag as it gets. I am not a Red Sox fan but I have never gone into an OT Red Sox thread to crap on them simply because I’m not a fan. If the Bruins were playing the Rangers then he might have a purpose in responding to the discussion, but coming into this thread simply to take little sh.ts here and there is bullsh.t. He should shut his pie hole and stop trolling this thread.

I'm just commenting on what I saw - Norsdrom was not pushed when he came into contact with their goalie and it interfered with his ability to make a save.

McAvoy just gave Anderson a little bump to the shoulder.

Brandon Carlo has been a stud at the blue line and in front of Tukka. The stuff he does goes unheralded, but he's been shutting down odd-man rushes and sweeping the slot clear of loose pucks all playoffs. I figured they had their bets hedged on him when they traded McQuaid.

The filthy elbow shot on Backes jaw got no suspension... neither should McAvoy.

Agreed. No way McAvoy was trying to hit Anderson in the head. Taller player trying to put his weight into a hit and separate Anderson from the puck and his shoulder rides up a bit. It's a mistake, but obviously not a deliberate one.

Hes definately upped his game this year, hes been solid.

I have been a Rask critic for years now. Always seemed to blink in the face of pressure. Except for game 1 of the first series he has been lights out in this playoff run. If we go all the way he will be a huge part of it. Go Bruins!!!

Agreed, and then the guy was able to come right back in for all of his lying on the ice. Not saying there should not have been a penalty, but it seemed pretty clear McAvoy was trying to hit shoulder to shoulder & the guy turned at the last minute. Not only these guys, but the Mikes for the BJs (Emrick and Millbury) said McAvoy was being thrown out. Meanwhile, earlier in the game there was a hit to the head on Tory Krug where the net was dislodged big where there was no penalty called on the crying Bjs, and there were crickets in the booth on that hit.

Where are my Tuukka haters at? Best player on the ice all playoffs.

Clear goalie interference by Nordstrom
This is so rich. You also commented that the Auston Matthews goal in the Toronto series "wasn't goalie interference" despite Hyman falling back into Tuukka in the crease on his own. Now, when Nordstrom is shoved near Bob, makes contact with him outside the crease, he resets and has position but fails to make the save and you think it is "clear GI." You're such a troll.

Bruins ease into the ECF. Feed me your tears.

.938 save % on an ave of 34 shots a game.

He has lapses in concentration but he is dialed in.

Finally putting it together does not magically erase previous issues. See Manning, Peyton.

Will never understand the mindset of someone who roots for teams from 2 rival cities... especially Boston and New York.
