How is Brady giving back 4 million? Are you expecting him to just forfeit part of his under market contract?By my estimates assuming Brady gives back 4M at some point they have around 8M or so they can safely throw around while also keeping an emergency fund and putting a little away for 2020.
With Gilmore due to make nearly 19M next year I would think they would want to put a little extra aside to offset that.

Suh, Ansah and Jaime Collins, all on vet minimums.
Seriously Suh was an animal for the first two plays of the Super Bowl, if you could get that guy to play for 60 minutes he would be great.
I'm thinking Ansah has a bad taste in his mouth of the mini-patriot way from Patricia, so I would count him out.
I can't see BB bringing back a guy he shipped out of town because he wasn't following the system.
Brady’s salary I think is $12mm. The standard approach to an extension is to convert current year salary to bonus and accrue it over the life of the contract. So current year cap cost drops. He gets the full bonus amount up front. How is Brady giving back 4 million? Are you expecting him to just forfeit part of his under market contract?
Ok. He didn’t say that he said Brady was “giving back 4 mill”Brady’s salary I think is $12mm. The standard approach to an extension is to convert current year salary to bonus and accrue it over the life of the contract. So current year cap cost drops. He gets the full bonus amount up front.

Pats have $14,500,000 in Cap space right now.
