Tom Brady on Jimmy Kimmel

**** Jimmy Kimmel. Disappointed that Brady agreed to appear on his turd of a program.

I live in NYC. Watching the Kimmel clips convinced me of something I've thought for a long time: I don't think Pats Fans in the Boston area or elsewhere in most of New England truly realize how big a Star Tom Brady is. I'm reminded of this every time the NY Tabloids gush over him at the Costume Institute Gala or friends of mine report a "Brady sighting" at a downtown athletic field, usually throwing a football around with one of his kids.

The haters are all idiot fans of teams that "hate him 'cause they ain't him." Otherwise, he's a mega-galactic presence, in part because of his accomplishments and looks and how he can wear a $5,000 leather jacket like he did last night and in part because of his relationship with Gisele...I mean, how many celebrities are known by either just their first name or one word, "GOAT?" No one has to ask who you mean when you say either.

In comparison, Peyton Manning has a real but limited appeal to "flyover country" sports fans. I'm sure he's still big on the rubber chicken circuit and at corporate events, but his TV ads are diminishing.

Well....? Did he have cheek fillers or not?!

Jees, what'd Jimmy do to you? He seems pretty Boston-friendly imo.

He's no Colbert, but definitely better than Fallon.

He had a slap fight with the god emperor.

FWIW I think he comes off way more likable and chill in this interview than that horrible one he did with Colbert last year where he came off like an automaton.

To be fair his e-meter broke that day so he wasn't able to normalize his chakras.

I mean, I love our guy but he's basically in some weird MLM/probably anti-vax water cult.

you're not going nuts...you ARE full blown past the rings of Saturn out there...

In my opinion, Brady came off as stupid. Just a sports stud. Sorry.

Almost positive that’s the guy that Curran saw. He’s made comments on the podcast, before. I’m just getting to the point where I’m considering Propecia, but I’ve read that it causes even more hair loss during the first few months, not to mention the side effect horror stories with erectile dysfunction. I have a script for it, but am too afraid to fill it.

My only fear with Propecia is once you start it, when do you stop?
Once you stop, you do lose hair you saved.
But let us know how it goes if you decide to fill that script.

Music, movies, TV shows and late night hosts are not what they used to be.

Which crappy band was on Kimmel with Brady?

I think Brady is very measured in how he comes across. Like most major celebrities, he stays in a narrow lane that is consistent with the image he wants to project. There's nothing in it for him to come off as anything other than a likable, super star athlete with an "aw shucks" attitude. His accomplishments, looks, marriage and fame just speak for themselves. He didn't just walk on to the set, wondering what was going to happen. There were weeks of negotiations between "his people" and the Show about what could be discussed. The Matt Damon encounter was clearly scripted, right down to Brady's calling him by the wrong name.

TV shows are insanely better now.

Movies are much better.

Late night hosts? Eh, a toss up.

Music... ok yeah you're right. Music is crap now.

Yeah I don’t get the secrecy and Stigma attaches to getting hair plugs.....it’s really just the same as getting your teeth done. It’s All cosmetic and aesthetics...and if it makes you feel better about yourself then just go right ahead.

Personally my hair is just starting to go. To be honest i really wouldn’t care about going bald if I didn’t have such an alien shaped head - don’t think I got picked up enough as a baby and I’ve got a pretty flat head at the back. Don’t want to subject the world to that head shaved!

I think I’ll be saving up to get plugs.
The stigma comes from what you just called it “plugs”. Nobody wants people to know they got “plugs”. People attached that word to fake or “doll hair”. The other part is that they fear it will turn out bad.

I think the timing is the most important aspect in getting a transplant to go as undetected as possible. It’s going to be difficult to not only get a good result but for people not to notice if you look like Larry David. The more hair you have on your head, the more likely you’ll get a good result and there’s no need to tell anyone.

What are some of the better movies of the last 3-4 years? Not arguing against, just genuinely curious because it hasn’t felt like there’s been those “must see” timeless classics compared to just about any other decade. Could just be me being under a rock though. Feels like an over saturation of superhero and social justice themes these days intended to woo the Academy.
