Our RB Corp is seriously good if healthy. Sony, White, Rex & Harris are all somewhat interchangeable 3 down backs for us.

With Sony making expected step forward in PP and rec (i think being injured in TC affected his usage in receiving game as well as White and Burkhead being excellent at it) - id say this is best group of complete 3-4 down backs in the league. They are all very good at #1 job - pass protection, all can receive and all can run (White improved significantly and is being underrated there). Most interchangeable & versatile group at the same time.

Id add Bolden in the mix for specific (short yd) situations . like Patterson had..

My 1st post here.
Harris graded out at 7.94. Just below the 2nd. Big time PTP. Mommas boy.

Great vision. Eyes are always up & looking but he isnt looking to bounce it 100 different ways. He's following protocol, looking for quickest hole & taking off. Love his vision. Easily one of the best in the class imo when it comes to that. Just a great feel for where he is, where he wants to go/be.
Knows the OL calls as well as the line. Very involved player.
Tough person, tough player.
Played ST, RB, WR in hs. Soft hands you can check down to no problem.
Very aware, patient & smart in pass pro. Isnt afraid & brings the fight to the rush. Always looking to help out, chip.
Good acceleration, not great. Isnt going to run away from DB's but who cares. If hes ripping off + runs, protecting Brady & reliable in the rec game/in general we have a very capable, ready RB to step in anytime. Not much miles bc of the Bama backfield.

Nice work. And Belichick has been investing heavily in OL over the past few years. They will add Wynn, Cajuste, and Froholdt to what was already a good OL unit. And a veteran swing tackle could still be something they look for to lock it all up. Losing Gronk sucks but I think moving to a really physical run game has been part of the plan for at least three years.

Who is the PTP momma’s boy?

PTP = Patriot-Type Player. Remember where you heard it first, I see some big shots using it ;)

And I was saying Harris is a Mommas Boy. Good thing imo.

I think what is meant is: He loves his Mom, and always says yes ma'am and no ma'am to her. He is respectful to her.

But that doesn't mean Harris isn't tough as nails (he is, by the way, in kind of a Hightower type of way, who could also be called a Momma's boy in the same vein).

.....And if you were to be dumb enough to disrespect Harris's Mom: this "Momma's boy" will bit his head clean off, and then kick his headless butt again for good measure. ;)

He came from a single parent home, definitely meant in a good way.

Rodney Harrison is the same way. One of those 30/30 type shows had him back home and very respectful.. doesn't mean he wouldn't knock your block off on the field...

This kid’s vision, patience, ball security & ability to catch the ball will make him a star in NE. I’m not too familiar with his ability to pick up the blitz though. I’m sure more enlightened fans would know. He also ran an array of option routes, which will help him in this offense. This selection has been growing on me by the day.

The ground game is gonna be electric this year.

Just scored an autographed Damien Harris Alabama jersey. Eventually I'll have a whole closet of Crimson Tide jerseys. :)

I would rather have welcomed Dawson Knox to New England with the 87th pick.

This RB group could be extremely special. Now the original thought would be that Burkhead and White are for passing downs but to me it seems there is a lot of potential in Harris and Michel as pass catchers still so I would prefer them taking the snaps away from Burkhead.

Michel was elusive after the catch in college and Harris is capable as well. We need to tap into that potential there.

34 is a great number for a RB. I keep watching his highlights and he looks like a steal.
