That's one hell of a haul for the Colts Manish ......
The Jete got royally fleeced on that one, especially when they could've gotten a legitimate franchise QB in this year's draft without spending extra to move anywhere. Idiots.

Arguably the worst starter of the 2018 season has become crowned as a future star this offseason because he’s now working with arguably the worst coach in the NFL. I guess they like the symmetry in that pairing.

Jets GM Mike Maccagnan reportedly on the hot seat, changes to front office expected after the draft
According to a report from The Athletic's Michael Lombardi, general manager Mike Maccagnan is on the hot seat.
I hear that all is not well in New York Jets land about their scouting operation. General Manager Mike Maccagnan is on the hot seat internally, and many in the league expect changes in the Jets' front office after the draft. Stay tuned.
Seems Crazy Eyes Gaze and Jacked Up Williams have lost the plot. They're supposed to wait till after a season of suckage before they stick the knife in Macca's back. Seems they're so jacked up they're killing off a prime scapegoat a year too soon.

I'm confused -- doesn't the GM have authority over coaches? After all, Maccromagnon fired Blowes. But who knows about the Jete. Maybe Gaze and Jacked Up can complete an original coup and get the loopy Johnson brothers fired as owners. Until that happens, it looks like we should expect Maccromagnon to fire some front office people as another diversion from the lousy job he's doing.

Sounds like business as usual for the Jete. More...

Jete 1st round pick already blabbing about how he'll be sacking Brady. What a MORON. There's 14 other games you gotta play besides the Pats but yeah, just run your idiotic moronic near braindead mouth about Brady. What did this **** score on the Wonderlic? Minus 385?

Well he did get drafted by the jete, his brain instantly turned to green mush, it happens to all who are drafted by the jest.

He certainly could use diction lessons. Couldn't understand a word he said in the one interview I saw with him yesterday.

Link: NFL Draft & Combine Profile - Jachai Polite | NFL.com

Prototypical Jete draftee, Jachai Polite: "His troubling post-season that included bad combine interviews, bad workouts and additional weight around the midsection has substantially clouded his draft standing into the boom-or-bust category. Scouts are concerned about maturity and character."

“He completely bombed the post-season,” a scout said. “His test numbers are awful. You’re going to get squat out of Polite his rookie year. He’s going to be overwhelmed with the transition to the NFL."

Could be an arrest in his future in the stinky wilds of New Jersey.

He scored 11 correct answers out of 50. Pure Jete. Jachai Polite was a comparative genius scoring 17. By contrast (naturally), the Patriots' Chase Winovich scored 31.

so once again, WE are correct. An idiot. They drafted Gholston II.No wonder they're calling him the "safest pick in the draft".Pretty safe bet he busts.

They’re already planning their Colts-like group celebration when they sack Brady in garbage time while losing 37-6.

On a related note, I notice all these idiot one trick pony pass rushers blabbing about getting a sack against Brady. Wow, one play during the game for a loss of five yards. That’s really the mentality of a lot of these players, to show up in the box score. Have you ever heard a Patriot player talking about needing to get “a sack”? What about the other 70 plays? Another reason the Pats are so far ahead of other teams. You have Winovich talking about how he just wants to be in the field, proud of his versatility and contribution to the unit’s success. They draft leaders who understand this is game with 10 other teammates on the field. Bruschi discusses this at length, about how the Patriots players aren’t sack whores. You see so many pass rush specialists being absolutely exposed as liabilities by Brady.

Plus, as BB says, sacks are overrated. Like the Jets draft. o_O

Who knows if this report is accurate and things will shake out, but this is typically baffling decision making by the Jets. They let Maccagnan hire the new coaching staff and build the team through free agency and the draft. Then, when it’s too late to do anything about the 2019 season, changes will be made to the front office. This pretty much guarantees another top 5 draft pick next year.

The Jete personnel philosophy in a nutshell: collect talent, plug roster holes. No regard for versatility, smarts, leadership potential or character. No wonder their successes are fleeting.

As opposed to BB's “We are not collecting talent, we are building a team.”

Where they will take another QB.
