2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

I saw it differently. I thought the second and third Bruins goals were soft ones. This is no way taking away anything from what Boston did tonight which was an excellent game. And yes, I am more football than hockey, and you're clearly the other way around. But see what happens when you misunderstand a poster, as you did in last year's hockey playoffs thread and again in this one? Most people here are more Patriots fans than Bruins/hockey fans, so try to be more understanding of them. If you are not clear as to their intention, ask them.

FWIW:
I have been a Pats STH since '82 and watched them play in Fenway as a teenager.

I didn't misunderstand the Leafs fan in last year's playoff thread. He was wrong and quasi admitted it by blaming it on a bad replay. He edited his posts, much like you have here, so it looks rough in retrospect but unlike him I don't engage in revisionism.

You admitted to somewhat trolling earlier in this thread (or have you edited that post too?). You didn't seem to take any issue with the thread when you were posting in it before now so all that seems a bit odd.

That said, I had/have no desire to engender ill will and was to my way of thinking administering a playful return poke based on the Andersen comment. He was far and away the Leafs best player tonight as I posted in real time. There was no need for you to go postal and there is no ill will on my part. As for yours, that is up to you but bear in mind life is too short to lose your composure on an internet forum and the hater is always more disturbed than the hated. I'm all good here but if you feel we need to engage in any soothing of the waters it would be best to do so in a PM.

The first goal he let in was all on Andersen. He was off the post too much and Nordstrom snuck it thru. Other than that, he was their best player by far tonight.

That's a tough one to find fault with. His guys coughed up the puck to Grzelcyk crashing down the boards. It developed bang bang, he didn't have much in the way of time to react and the puck had eyes to find the little he left open there, just squeaked through.

The shifting of play period over period was a microcosm of this series. When the Bruins got up and played the way they can play, physical, pucks in deep, forecheck, good defense, they look great. When they sit back, don't try to win puck battles, flip the puck out of the zone, stand on their heels when pucks are coming to them instead of engaging, they look like crap. It flipped from great in the 1st to awful in the 2nd to great in the 3rd. When they play their game, i'm telling you, this is a SC favorite.

Always good to beat the Laffs, especially in Game 7 and at home! Great series win, boys. B's over the Jackets in 6. Let's pray for an Islanders upset over the Caps (should they continue their home ice dominance). Something about the Caps that the Bruins have not been able to overcome in the past 7 years or so.

LET'S GO B's!!!!!

Who were the morons that were saying Rask sucked and was the weak link? He was the core reason this even went to 7 games. GREAT JOB, TUUUUUKKKKKKSSSS!

Vegas sticks are fast, disrupting some nice passes by the Sharks in front of the net.

Damn. Nice goal. Great save by Fleury a minute later on the break in alone.

Chris

kuraly makes the 4th line go. i love our 4th line.

HFS! 3 goals on one major penalty to tie game 7!

Chris

FOUR ON ONE MAJOR!

Chris

That period was insane. Vegas got screwed with the 5 minute call.
Should have been 2, looked worse cause he bumped into the other and flopped like a trout.

WOOOOOOO! Fresh legs Goodrow with the winner!

Regards,
Chris

That was the worst call in modern playoff hockey. Barely even a 2 minute penalty. Refs decided the game.
