Saints - Genuine and always supported us during the ********.

Ravens - Those Ray and Ed Reed defences were unbelievable. They always made me nervous whenever we played them in the play offs. They knew how to play against the GOAT

07 Giants Defence - Tuck and Strahan we’re dominate against us. Huge respect from the pair of them especially Tuck..

The Jete.....

Just kidding

OP shared his thoughts on 2017 Eagles and the Super Bowl... so I assume it's not about respecting a franchise over decades, but more about peak performance.

I think I had most respect for LOB Seahawks in 2014. Star power on defense was insane, offense looked good enough. Marshawn Lynch may never have been the best RB around the block, but sure he had stats, reputation and quirks to give off that dangerous vibe.

For some reason I had more respect, at least until that last minute or so, than for Eagles 2017. I think Eagles had a great game that day and stars aligned for them, but they looked like your regular contender, nothing special, but lots of BS and braggadacio. It literally took the worst defensive performance of last 20 years to lose that game.

1. Time
2. Themselves
3. Those gd Giant defenses

Most of the Eagles team I respect except Lane Johnson. Respect Bortles because he seems like a cool guy, Jalen Ramsey can go away though. Ben Roethlisberger is a criminal. Ray Lewis killed a guy. Most Broncos I can respect, don't care much for Derek Wolfe. I respect Coughlin's Giants. 2016 Falcons seemed pretty respectable. Always love Brandin Cooks despite his shortcomings. You get the idea. Teams that win gracefully, doesn't talk a whole lot of trash, I like.
