I never thought we'd get both D. Thomas AND Eric Decker! Maybe Wes will finally come back.

I don’t see him doing much, but training camp and preseason should give us a good idea what he can do.

Big target. Can't run as well even before the tear. Still, not a bad deal at all.

He'll probably be suspended anyway, under the PCP. I think BB is counting on that to be a sort of pseudo-PUP. Recover and serve his suspension at the same time.

Two birds with one stone.

He was speeding. He was speeding to the point of "careless". Even this idiot of a commissioner has to realize that this is not the sort of offense that warrants significant league discipline (it doesn't really warrant any at all, since it's none of the league's business, but that's a different argument)..

Edelman-Gordon-Thomas-Dorsett is not half bad

For any WR corps Edelman-Gordon alone isn't half bad. I like Dorsett and thought he got off to a good start and then got sidelined for Gordon. Thomas is an unknown.

The problem is we don't know the deal with Gordon. Maybe our owner can leverage all of his power to get...oh right, he asian massaged his cache with the league away.

Well I’ll say this...anything was better news to me than re-signing Hogan or paying through the nose for Tate. Pats gambling again on some low risk, moderate reward players and hoping to get something unexpected back.

Definitely with you on Tate. With Hogan the interesting thing was that the team was seemingly really done with him. Hell, Dorsett got a better deal here than Hogan got with the Panthers.

Great, wanted this to happen. He has a bunch of hurdles to jump over to even have any impact here though.

I hope we give Edelman a pay bump. Don’t want to disrupt locker room economics. Especially for Deymaryious Thomas.

Me thinks they are not done by a long shot.... Trade, FA signing after compensatory pick deadline and draft........ More toys for TFB....

Fortunately separation is not necessarily the most important thing in this offense as we have seen in the past decade+.

Considering Hogan only had a cup of coffee on the Giants practice squad in 2011 that's not saying much

But it more or less explains that the team doesnt think that Hogan and Dorsett are filling the same role. Everyone kept wondering why Hogan continued to play over Dorsett last year and here is the somewhat subtle answer.

He must not be aware of my workout plan

I think you missed the point. What does Hogan being on the Giants practice squad 8 years ago have to do with 2019?

My third question: Will this affect any WR drafting plans?

Edelman
Thomas
Gordon
Dorsett
Ellington
Harris
Assorted stiffs
Draftees (?)

If Gordon and Thomas can perform at even 80% of their full ability, that's a solid WR corps right there.

No

He was old, decrepit and washed up before the Achilles tear. Now? Yikes. I think they'd be better off getting a receiver from foxborough high school.

If I recall, Suggs came back from an Achilles in 6 months, but I think he used deer antler spray he got from Ray Lewis killed someone....
