Also would make you think “yeah, I can see that”

Off the top of my head, Chase Winovich would fit that description.

He’s not someone many of us have talked about as a likely pick but he could offer pass rush early and could play either a Van Noy or Ninkovich role.

Who for you?

Honestly, a WR at 32 or by trade up.

A WR makes all the sense in the world, but it would still surprise me.

Safety in the first two rounds.

A long snapper in the fifth

A "punt protector" in the 6th

Pats taking Josh Jacobs if he falls to 32. RB certainly doesn’t look like a need, but thought process being
- they’re heavily dependent on the run game, easier to project prospects here than passing game (BB quote this week)
- built in redundancy in case Michel or Burkhead miss time
- two way back who can help in passing game; without Gronk need other ways to avoid being predictable pre-snap

Joe Juan Williams @32

Kaleb McGary at 32.

Well that’s never a surprise with BB drafting :). I suppose the only surprise would be if it’s someone we’ve heard of or that’s projected to go in the 2nd round.

I would be surprised by one of these character flag guys - Simmons, Tillery etc

I would be mildly surprised by a safety at 32 - Thornhill, Abram, Chauncey-Gardner, but I could also see it happening. The value is there and a) Bill loves safeties, b) we have no backup to Chung, and c) McCourty is probably gone after this year.

Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to a BB especially after last year. But i would be shocked if he drafted a WR at 32.

I think this is the year to expect that particular unexpected scenario.

If we use only 5 of our picks or draft a guy like Dawson Knox with one of our 2nd or 3rd rounders.

Actually wouldn’t surprise me if they traded out of first....
