Ex NFL RB charged with first-degree Murder of 5 year old girl

The abuse that some of these kids suffer is unfathomable. If they survive, there often so messed up that their lives are a cesspool of baggage. These kids either physically die at the hands of their parents or they pave their own path of destruction throughout their lives. Either way, their lives are ended at a young age. It's just a matter of when they're buried... It's all that more amazing when someone can suffer that abuse and become productive. If he did it, throw away the key.

Put a plastic bag over their heads. Save everyone time and money.
Making them watch Jets games for the rest of their lives may be even worse punishment.

All jokes aside, hearing news like this makes me sick. The child didn’t even get a chance at life because of those awful people.

My response is harsh but that's how I feel about crimes against children.

Punishment is swift and severe.

They’ll be “dead man/woman walking” once prisoners find out what they did.

Messed up how real justice comes from convicted criminals of violent crimes

Too bad people get away with it all the time with a slap on the wrist.

Yeah, I just don’t get it. You kill someone with intent and depending on who you are you are going to jail for a long time or executed.

You murder your own child in anger or lapse of reason, but because you were messed up in the head, show sorrow and remorse, you are some how giving leniency Doubt they get over 20 years because it was their own kid. If it was someone elses they’d get life or the execution. Don’t get that at all.

Some darkness in the world that just sadly still exists. Bless that poor child.

This stuff is so awful.

And of course, the real story is that the Pats had him on their practice squad for two months and were not able to diagnose this character problem and fix it. Fines and draft picks, at a minimum.

At this point we should probably preemptively lock up the entire 2013 Patriots team.

Gimme a break. Referring to him as a "Former Patriots RB" is the type of maneuver I would expect from the Boston Globe, not members of this forum.

Wow, sad story....no kid deserves that....home and parents are supposed to be safe place....and A hating patriots talking head says...pats locker room toxic, breeds killers
