Can't say I blame 'em. F John Henry and the Globe.

Barstool Sports

EDIT: I didn't mean to be misleading with the title. Some Patriots are going, but some are not. The ones who are not going are the "big-3" of Kraft/Belichick/Brady.

Thornton nails it, in his usual homer style. and yeah, your thread title is misleading.

QFT. Like most Pats diehards I've always thought Kraft, BB & Brady have been far too kind to Henry & Werner considering the way they have been dealt with. Clearly killing them with kindness hasn't paid any dividends, you can only get pissed on just so much while being told it's just rain before deciding not to accept the offer to go outside and play.

From Thornton's piece: "But the days of the big three being nice to Henry while he pisses all over them in print are very much done. Have fun, Dr. Creepy." Amen Jerry, amen.

Not so sure Tom and Bill keep up or care what the Red Sox are cooking up. I can def see why Kraft isn't going though.

Brady still angry about that Best Buddies story.

I have to be honest and say that I'be been an enemy of the Boston Globe ever since they printed a doctored photo in their paper of US soldiers raping an Iraqi woman.

From the timing of the Pats appearances at Fenway it looks like it was Kraft who first decided to work together with the Sox after the Pats won the SB.

As to the pettiness that Thornton gave a slight mention to in his article, what the Pats big 3 are doing is far less petty and much more understandable than the Sox not inviting Curt Schilling to a reunion of the Sox title team, of which Schilling was a very big part.

Oh yeah, when was that? Was that after the last Fenway visit? Does Bill have any reason to have beef with them? Kinda strikes me as a guy who isn't too concerned with Kraft' or Brady's personal beefs.

I wouldn't want to be on the same field as a 3-8 ballclub either.

As a matter of fact it was after Brady's last Sox Opening Day appearance, just after it. Making the hatchet job all the more a-holish. As for Bill, I tend to think him previously attending was more a matter of going along with his Boss & QB than any real desire to attend on his part.

"You guys aren't going? Fine by me, I got chit to do."

Banished to the Sox forum? Sure seems like the Big 3 sending Henry & the Globe a message is a noteworthy Pats story to me

I am beginning to think some of the mods are a little over zealous. It's not a Sox thread. Whatever.

Because, you know, having a thread on the GD draft hat is important. A discussion on the relationship between the two franchises isn't worthy of the main forum tho.

The most overrated baseball team ever. Baseball stinks. Juiced balls and roids.

No thanks to that cult.

Why does anybody still read that rag or their website? The only thing I use ESPN for is if the Patriots are unfortunately playing on their network and even then I watch it on channel 5 and for the website I read Mike Reiss. The Globe and Boston.com don't even get that from me.

"Bye, bye, bye," Everett said. "Don't ask me [expletive]. See you, Globe [expletive]. I just told you. Anybody from the Globe, get the [expletive] away from me. Nobody from the Globe can talk to me. Globe, see you and your curly-haired boyfriend"

Is John Henry the editor of the Boston Globe?

Well, that was fun. Nice to see Gronk.

Made it almost football related
I couldn't see in the wide angle shot who all was there, but it looked like a good turn out. I guess if you're a local guy and your name isn't Tom Brady, you want to be there for that. I mean, how often to most players get to have that opportunity? Taking Brady aside, very few play lengthy careers. I would be all over it.
