What a dumbass conclusion based on scientifically illiterate assumptions.

1. You cannot use relative values. Use absolute values and you'll hopefully see that Ernie is fully on board.

Is there an easier chart to read? Holy Christ man.

3. Timelines matter statistically. Even as an anomaly. Get it?????

I'd be interested in a poll asking how many forum members actually understand what it is.
How many of us have had graduate level Physics courses?
Frankly I find the complexities of the NFL far harder to understand than Gauge theory...

This isn’t like most football forums

I’m a total amateur, though. I know of the god particle through some leisurely reading about the LHC and dabbling around the net in my spare time. The concepts fascinate me, but I could never go beyond the basics personally.

I spent a year in the MIT astrophysics PhD program before dropping out because (a) wasn't as interesting as I was expecting, and (b) because I realized that an astrophysics PhD was stuck either working for JPL or at a college, which means you have very little control over where you live. So I dropped out and (it was the very early 90s) went into software engineering where I've been since. (Physics types becoming quants was later in the decade.)
