Tom tearing his ACL skiing might have had some traction...

...with all of NE knocking on every piece of wood they could find.

Regards,
Chris

Tom is amazingly unfunny. God bless him.

Why am I not amused by any of this or the tweets about it. I feel like everyone should have glanced at it and then carry on with their day like nothing happened. Terrible joke.

At first I saw a picture of Brady on a mainstream news site, which immediately made me uneasy. Then the first words in the article were "Tom Brady announced his retirement today".

I was getting ready to take the rest of the day off work to start the coping process.

I was going to post an April fool's joke here early this morning about Brady's retirement but I thought it would be too cruel for those who forgot what day it is.

What he should have done is have Giselle post one of those all loved up Instagrams
announcing how happy she was for him to retire ... now that might have worked for April fools.

Edelman and Brady should have both gone on Twitter and posted something like

"After trying unsuccessfully to convince Gronk to return, we have decided that, at this stage in our careers, we don't want to play without him. Therefore, we are retiring along with him."

There would have been feces trails all over New England.

For the win .... good stuff.

Meh. Would have been more devastating if he said he was growing his hair out like 2010 again

Sean McVay pulls prank on Kliff Kingsbury

The Rams coach and Kingsbury recently had dinner with Patrick Mahomes, whom Kingsbury coached at Texas Tech.

At the dinner, McVay fooled Kingsbury into thinking NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had texted him.

“We have a mutual friend, and I put his name in my phone as ‘Roger Goodell,'” McVay said on Adam Schefter’s podcast, via Yahoo Sports. “I had this friend send me a text saying, ‘I can’t believe you’re at dinner with Kingsbury and Mahomes. You know better than this. This is tampering. You’re both losing picks.’ I showed Kliff the text, and he looked like he saw a ghost.”

Kingsbury thought he was going to lose the No. 1 overall pick, and McVay urged Kingsbury to call General Manager Steve Keim to tell him the bad news.

Him jumping off a cliff and wanting to go light speed skiing were pretty funny.

That guy is full of himself. Only if I could stop caring. Can I? I cannot. So "God, take my knee and shoulder instead pleaseeeeeee"

If this was the worst AFD joke to Patriots fans imagine how bad it was for the rest of the league when they figure out it was a joke. Jets and Ravens fans should figure it out at some point this week.
