I got a slight impression that he wasn't particularly liked by some of his players. You can be a hard ass like Bill but he still has respect of his players and is relatable to them. What sold me on him was the fact that BB was sold on him. So I think it has to be considered a setback.
Please define what a "Normal" offseason is....
If Fraser were to be made the CB coach, would you move SBeli to the D-line? Or have different coaches for the Safeties and for the CBs?

I'm not sure the same can be said for Schiano.
True. Obviously we all heard Bennett trashing him but I thought I read one of the Pats players discussing him. Possibly Harmon? Reading between the lines with what he was saying there wasn't the "he's a great coach, we're happy to have him" line. He seems to be a hardass with not much to show for it.Not disagreeing because I don't know what players you talk about but the local Rutgers group seemed to like him well. You had players in Detroit whining because Patricia made them run more than ever before. I think he would have fit here.
Can we have a normal offseason for once? It's beyond ridiculous at this point
It's been everything, but normal. So far this is a fairly normal off-season. Quiet FA period, a few guys left for pay, and an Out-of-Left-Field departure.
Seems tome we are right on track.
