I’m feeling pretty smart about that pick right now. I also have Oregon and Ohio State winning upsets. I had Cincinnati going to the elite 8 so Part of my bracket is collapsed. We have an office pool where we get a point per win. It doesn’t escalate each round like online contests. I don’t need to pick the winner to win.

Whoever is playing VA right now is giving them all they can handle

Of course Gardner-Webb came out of the half and proceeded to **** the bed.

And, if we’re being honest, I’m not quite so sure that my prediction was worse. I was definitely wrong. But Virginia is not my team, nor is it my alma mater, and I didn’t make a definitive statement on how they were built. You were wrong on a message board for that, you should be ashamed of yourself.

I was wrong, I'll admit, but UVA is defense-first and really is not a come from behind team.

North Dakota St. still in it, but I expect Duke to come out strong in the second half.

That defense was absolutely lockdown in the second half though.

6 and a half minutes played in the UCF VCU game and we have 2 baskets.. Like watching my kids' games...when they were 6 years old...

Luckily even though my first round picks suck, I pretty much have all my teams left in tact. Lost 1-2 sweet 16 teams in my brackets

I missed six games the first round. That’s high for me. I don’t watch much college basketball until the tournament so it’s just guessing but I am pretty good at it. For the overall winner, I picked Michigan in my office pool contest but UNC for my Yahoo bracket.

My Final 4 was FSU (homer pick), UNC, UVA and Duke.

I feel very confident in saying that either Duke, UNC or Virginia will win the national championship.

7'-6" Tacko Fall ended up last night with 18 rebounds and 13 points against a solid UVC team. If he could shoot from say 8 feet out, it would improve his chances for the second round. He was fun to watch, though. It almost seems as though they could have fed all night long, since he made nothing but dunks.

Another big debit for him seems to be his loping slowness, but maybe he looks slower than he is---hey when you got 6 foot legs... Also, he seems winded a lot.

It's too bad he didn't start playing b-ball at age 10 rather than 18 or later, because he sure does look the part. Good basketball build.

That kid is a god damn freight train when he enters the lane with a head of steam. Duke’s problem, and who knows if it will come back to bite them in the ass in the tournament, is they struggle a bit from beyond the arc. Teams with enough talent have overcome that in either the NBA or the NCAA, though. I think they will.

Anyway, can’t wait to watch my Gators and Michigan today. I have to take care of some yard work that I’ve neglected for far too long then your boy is cracking some cold ones and sitting his pasty white, Irish, pimply ass on the couch for the rest of the evening.
