I think it's Cobb that signs today. One year cheap deal.
Cobb makes the most sense both fit and dollar-wise

Big name WR's don't get traded...yeahhh. Lol. The Bengals are in rebuilding mode. They know they're not competing for a SB this year. I'm sure they'd entertain all offers for Green.
I’m not sure he seems like perfect Pats WR. Like him as a player but other than Moss (and the sneak preview of Gordon) not the kind of player that has necessarily flourished. He could be great, or he could be Ochocinco. Not sure what they’d have to pay him would justify taking that leap.I think so too and the Bengals are a dumpster fire I am sure A.J. Green would love to be out of there. AJ Green is an Elite player seems like perfect WR for the Pats.

I mean, if it’s about numbers they’re a lot like Ochocincos used to be. In a more pass inflated era. Lots of WRs have great numbers on bad teams with bad to mediocre QBs. It’s more an issue of style and fit than numbers or even ability.Could be Ochocinco?? Have you look at Greens numbers he's been very productive with questionable QB play at best.
AJ Green would be a rental as he is only signed for the 2019 season. If the Bengals want to move on, I wouldn't mind giving up a 4th round pick. AB only garnered a 3rd and he is signed for 3 more years.
That being said, Green's salary is still 12m for 2019. If we can sign Tate for less than that... say in the 8m dollar range it would make more sense to go for Tate and not give up any draft picks.
$8Mill would probably be an insult to Tate and I don't see him giving any Team a discount at his age: knowing this will probably be his last contract.
In that case maybe we go through the draft for a WR although we haven't been successful in the draft arena since Edelman 10 years ago. Maybe a trade is in order.
Would you do a first, a third and Joe Thuney for Julio? Listening to sports radio in Atlanta today and there’s some idle chitchat that he could be available for the right price.

Tate would be a longer commitment though and he's older I believe. Green would be an one year rental...and we would get a comp pick in 2021 that would off-set any draft compensation in 2019.
Additionally, I think AJ Green is far superior to Tate....but that's just me.
MOST LIKELY - Dorsett
NEXT - Cobb
I would like to see the Patriots sign Rishard Higgins to an offer sheet. He has a 5th round tender on him. Has similar skillset to Gordon.
