Since we are having a thread about the Dolts I will express my 'feelings' as well.
I think the 'dislike' I have for the Colts started once everyone anointed Manning as the second coming the minute he was drafted. Now in retrospect all those stupid NFL commercials (like the one where he is in the stands and asking fans to slap his hands as they are leaving the stadium) seem even more contrived and made me dislike Manning and the Colts even more.
The piping in noise in the AFC championship game (that was quickly relegated as nothing by the NFL) in 2006, left an even more sour taste in my mouth.
Then the whole suck for Luck should have been investigated, as that action was 'detrimental to the NFL', as the Colts 'manipulated the system' for a competitive advantage. Manning goes down and they go from 10 wins to 2 wins then 11 wins. Really? The Patriots get fined, have multiple draft picks taken away, because mother nature causes a slight drop of PSI, and the Colts systematically sabotage a season to draft a 'generational' QB, and no one cares?
Of course the whole shenanigans with PSI was just the icing on top instigated by them as well.
If anything, once I realized Brady and Manning were friends, I actually admired Manning for a short time, but then that also went away after the scandals were disclosed, not just with the steroid fiasco, but what also happened in college.
Objectively speaking, if their O-line is legit, then the Colts are unfortunately in a superb position with a 100+ million dollars in cap space to significantly improve their team.
