Rapoport: Antonio Brown to Buffalo

This has zero to do with being out of loop but with the most fundamental way how BB (and other historic winning coaches) construct their rosters and run their organization.

He wasn't even talking specifically about NE here but about all teams that value culture above all.
I can agree with that

I'm absolutely loving all this drama going on in Pittsburgh. Throw in the fact it's after the Pats won the Super Bowl and it's the cherry on top.

Can we get AB, OBJ and lure Calvin Johnson out of retirement? :D

NE won't be interested until we get to a point where he is either cut or a bargain (i.e. late round pick)..

It could come down to that...I wonder if Pitt would release him than get a 7th rounder from NE

I mean, if it comes down between outright release and no one is offering, say, a third round pick or higher, you probably just cut him. His current contract is too much of a deal to be shipping a Hall of Fame receiver still in his prime to a rival for pennies on the dollar.

Good for Brown, exercising some authority over where he goes.
He is still under contract with the Pittsburgh franchise of the NFL, and as an employee therewith, he should have Zero authority over where he goes.

This isn't the Nazi-onal Basset-ball Ass-ociation...yet.

Those days are gone. Players have a lot more power, especially in this case where he can walk away from the game, or at least threaten to. Not saying it's right, just reality.

I would think the Steelers wouldn't trade him to NE for anything higher than a 3rd rounder. If they don't get what they want, they have to cut him and hope he signs out of the conference.

The player having too much say is kinda an odd comparison to the nazi’s...isn’t it the opposite?

Begs the question, do teams not want to sign him or not want him at all period?

I think a handful of teams like NE would take a chance on him...at the right price. The Steelers are in a bad situation in that no one wants to trade for Brown. Teams know this and are hoping that Pittsburgh releases him so that they can negotiate with him on their terms.

Facebook live. No one wants that while coach is talking. AB can burn. Luckily he “doesn’t need football”. Vice versa.

Really hoping to see a rare case of an untradeable contract. When you think about it, the Steelers should be the ones needing to fork over a high draft pick. This is a horrible contract that no one should want, even for free.

What if we get AB and then bring in Dez and Randy Moss back?

Exactly. Plus Calvin johnson out of retirement, plus trade for Fitzgerald. Plus, get T.O. out of retirement too because he still looks like he can play.
