I dont think i have seen too much on this, but I think a big priority for the Patriots this off season should/will be extending Van Noy. He has been an invaluable player for us. He has been versatile, consistent and clutch. I hope we are able to sign him for 3-4 more years.

"But Mike..."

I agree - but too many other t's to cross right now.

With all the other contracts in need of addressing I don't know as I'd go so far as saying it's currently a 'big priority' but an extension should definitely be on the to do list once things quiet down. Due consideration to Lame Johnson and all, if his interviews are any indication no one seems to be having more fun than KVN.

KVN is awesome, on and off the field. He blossomed into a top LB this year and I hope he’s here for many years to come.

I agree...could be one of those signings that go under the radar. Maybe a midseason extension to create operating cap space for the season.

Expecting a mild regression for KVN next year, if only because no one improves indefinitely. He's a good "glue guy" but should only have moderate expectations placed on him going forward. I think he'll be a good support piece for the team going forward if they extend him, but nothing irreplaceable.
