I've heard rumors about Roemer. I can't verify anything, but he's generally a solid source:

I don’t know what he personal issues are but he’s got Pats length and, as you note, first round ability acccording to Jeremiah. Let Dante play big daddy and see how he reacts. To be honest, not done too much on him but liked the potential for upside.

In an admittedly small sample size the big plays I saw he either ran slants or was open on broken plays. He's definitely got both long and short speed so if he replaces CP as the KR and can be a more explosive Dorsett in the passing game I'd take a shot on him.

No Projects at WR please too painful to watch get me a polished Route runner.

manx I want my TE a little earlier than that and I don't want a QB that will sit for at least a couple of years that early. Selection 56 can net you a real good TE or WR.

What can I say. I’m a fan of Warring. As for Daniel Jones, he fell into my lap. I don’t think he’s the best QB ever but QB value is such that you take them when you can as far as I’m concerned.

Would just like to point out that Edelman was the most “project at WR” as you can get.

Yeah manx I know for every one that works out there is like Ten Flops manx Braxton Miller still hasn't happened yet. I can live with a Project if we have capable players in place but right now we only have one in Edelman at WR and not much else. I want a couple of WR's that can make Edelman's life a lot easier.

I’m hoping those will come via FA. I don’t think we should be relying on the draft to fill our WR vacancies. But I don’t object to kicking the tires on interesting prospects as no 4/5 guys.

Nice find in that kid DeMarkus Lodge great body control and tracks football very well. Love his toe taps along the sidelines he has the makings of a good young Receiver.

I have trouble seeing Adderley or any DB as the best addition the Pats can make at 32.

There were plenty of us who didn’t have an issue with Justin Reid being the first pick last year and as next year could well be Devin’s last (Chung too?), it doesn’t seem that preposterous to me. I’d rather have Hockenson and Lawrence and maybe Fant too before a safety but there’s some pretty good safeties in that top 50 range. Having said that, Hooker in the 2nd-3rd might be the better value (at least for me).

A mock I did at The Draft Network. For the purposes of this exercise, please imagine we’ve signed Cameron Wake (only way I can excuse the lack of a decent pass rusher ;))

32 - Noah Fant
56 - Deebo Samuel
64 - Amani Hooker
73 - David Long
97 - Daylon Mack
101 - Trysten Hill
134 - Tytus Howard
205 - Jarrett Stidham
239 - Penny Hart
246 - John Cominskey
252 - Lamont Gaillard

Now we have a bit blurred picture of the draft because we are not aware of FA moves. Nevertheless DL andd TE position is a sudden need likewise Safety position. It all depends on the specific players being on the board. If Lawrence,Fant or Noah are one of them I agree they would be my first choices prior to the safety. However Adderley is also a very tempting option.
